WANNA- all of this is beyond me; as I've said I've only heard of 2 cases; one- the teenage kids didn't WANT to take action after leaving the home; they wouldn't bring it to the elders, nor call the police. the second- the teen molester was DFed, arrested and was sent to prison.

As far as policies- who can honestly say which one fits all? IS there such a policy- for as I PERSONALLY saw, te Falsely Accused is in EQUAL danger!

To sit back and think you know the answers is Idiocy; I think the WTBS is doing the best their feeble minds can!

PS- UnbroterDan; if I was foolish enough to leave one of my young kids alone with an adult, and they were molested- I would, of course, make SURE that he/she would receive justice (yes, hopefully thru the police and court- that puts the kid thru your Hellfire), but would NOT want all to know my kid was molested; isn't that something they would be ashamed of, or embarrased of?

Never happened, so I can only guess.

Why ask the same thing over and over? "Two or Three Witnesses" is the standard God gave.

Call the police for every accusation is yours?

My opinion; the one molested should- and if it's a kid claiming someone in their household did, give them shelter., protections and YES call the police.

If it's an adult, the circumstances would determine what to do. Police would be the LAST resort, until certain it REALLY happend; emotions going wild rarely helps ANYTHING- just makes worse.

However, I have never been an elder- now I have NO desire to ever BE one, so it's MOOT. AND a relief! What a Horrible problem to have to deal with!

Has there been some corruption, or mishandling? Of COURSE! Pretenders are everywhere.

Do we as a people and as an organization protect molesters? NEVER. ( To the very best of my knowledge )

Do I trust your opinions? no.

However, I am NOT any kind of authority on this matter.

I'm slow; I still don't see it.

1-They stopped obeying the Mosaic Law- especially the Sabbaths; he FORCED the Sabbath of 70 years.

2-"For" and "At" Babylon apply- just in different perspectives. 70 years for Babylon to remain, 70 years of Jweish captivity.

True, LL; the "you" was referring to those in general!

Think about THIS 'brother' dan: you, for SOME reason, leave have left your small kid alone and they are molested.

Regardless of how it is handled- would you, your wife, or your child WANT all to know about it?

Or, are you implying we do the Catholic/Baptist thing- and just cover over it if it's an elder- maybe even putting him in another congregation so he can molest again?

(Trying hard to hold back my Sarcasm- but it's HAAAAARRRRDDDDDD, when all of you cop this attitude...)

Yes, WAS- same HERE; believe everything you read?

I estimate I've been in over a dozen congregations- and have only known of 2.

Maybe I should start listing the ENDLESS cases in CHURCHianity on another Topic, then school, government, & business cases...

I'd spend the rest of my LIFE doing so.

Again, this is a problem in ALL walks of life, unfortunately- and make fun of our looking forward to the Day it all ends, by Christ, all you want, folks; I'm USED to it. Pretend that YOU know a better policy. Hope YOU never are falsely accused as my friend was.

yes-lotta nonsense; a self-proclaimed "slave class" that is not a prophet but like a prophet, giving so awfully embarrasing opinions that are supposed to be automatically acceted by all of us jws...pretenders...mistakes... and moves not "discreet" at all- like the ngo united nations membership they secretly had for awhile....terrible, isn't it?.

i mean, look at the inspiring example we have in churchianity: such wonderful dogma- such as the three sadist-gods who have been torturing billions of men, women, and children for thousands of years- with eternity to go...and god making the universe in 72 hours...and backing the wars of their governments- "god and country!

", as they send their men out to war, telling them they will be blessed for it, and so many more wonderful revelations: the rapture, once-saved, tithing, etc.

since you've been fingered as a troll i though i would give you a forum to tell us your story.. perhaps you could include details such as why you come to this site, how you found your way here, why you post, what cong your in, whether or not you are currently serving in some capacity.. anything you think would help us know you better.
