  Imagine being an elder, or ANYONE in the congregation, and someone TELLS you they were molested!

  Even before giving ficticious circumstances, you know peoples lives are going to be harmed, some ruined- and WHO CAN READ THE HEART?

  Sure, people will fumble at dealing with it- wether church people/JWs, or the government.

  I am NOT saying one course is better or more proper than the other; certainly SOME instances will necessitate calling the police- but THEY are not a magical solution to the most difficult of problems; determing who is telling the TRUTH, and who ISN'T!

  Rich Man and Lazarus

  i have never understood the watchtower's explanation of the rich man and lazarus story jesus told in luke 16. of course, they don't believe jesus is talking about what happens in an "afterlife" after people die.. but from the watchtower's point of view:.

  1. who are the five brothers?.

  2. why can't lazarus go witness to them?

  To you others- WHEN wil you LISTEN to God & Christ? Death MEANS death-, not immortality in another form. There WILL be a resurrection, and all will get OUT of Hell!

  Hey- go ahead and ignore Jesus' teachings- and the rest of the scriptures, if you wish to be a good. little churchoid.

  Adam & Eve only died a 'spritual' and 'physical' death, their immortal souls are in Heaven right now- being rewarded for their treason! All rich people are doomed to go the hellfire for being rich.

  Like I said, I UNDERSTAND BOTH sides, from what I can see; but if you thnik the GOVERNMENT could be the solution, pardon the expression: "God HELP you".
