  Joe Frazier as a example for disadvantaged youth. It is a good question and difficult to answer. No question he was fearless in the Ring. He ran a Boxing gym for many years in Philadelphia. Its a brutal sport and he showed all of the signs of dementia which says- No a young person should not go into boxing for their livelyhood.

  I wasn't ignoring your questions. How far back, from an anthropologist's point of view or an historian's point of view our evolution is a continuous thread.

  Our Constitution was based on the Roman model of Democracy, how far back does that take us, 2000 years.

  Should you resent the Danes, the question is are the Danes still an oppressor or have both social groups evolved. Britain was the aggressor and oppressors to India for 200 years during the 'Raj'. Its taken 70 years to steadily makes things right.

  That's why I posted the historical construct of the past 500 years and approached the subjects of cultural genocide and physical genocide.   Well that persecption is how social issues go from bad to worse. A segment of America likes the out-of-sight-out-of-mind solution to our social problems.

  -We want this valley for our city so we move the Indigenous Peoples off by any means necessary was the solution in the 1800s. We build more prisons and turn them into cheap labor businesses but cut school funding is another modern solution. Germany just waived tuition for college like Norway did. They want their young people to succeed. It sends a message. 25 new prisons vs 1 new college is the California solution.

  "If we are to build a better tomorrow, we cannot regurgitate the ignorant thoughts of our ancestors".

  Love- there are on average 44 homicides per day in the US, 5.2 per 100,000. Some countries with high gun ownership don't have our homicide rate, lower and higher what makes the difference, and what can we learn from the more successful countries.

  Sweden is closing prisons, California built 25 new prisons and just 1 university in the past few years.
