Ferguson Shooting (Is my thinking on this all wrong.......)

i think everyone here can agree that walking down the street, even in the middle of the street, is not cause for having a clip emptied in your ass......... i can understand how the black community would be outraged by the injustice of seeing another black man dead in the street at the hands of the police under mysterious circumstances....... i hope that i'm not succumbing to the attempts to assinate the already well impuned character of the dead man...... however.

i can't help but think that this could all have been avoided by exercising the proper discretion with fore-knowledge of the disadvantages people of color have when they are dealing with law enforcement in the united states.

it is not as if this disadvantage has only since recently came to light.

Rutherford's last book "Children" 1941- Advice DONT HAVE KIDS...Where it all started!

watchtower 1941 sept. 15 p.283, 288 "in front of the convention platform the children recieving there free gift (copy) not as a play thing but as the lords instrument for the work in the remaining months before armagedon..." so what lovely message did the kids get from judge rutherford?

children 1941page 281 "no children were taken onto noah's ark...it is proper to wait until after armagedon to have children...its only afew more years till armagedon..." the book concluded.

"(john and his girlfriend talk) ...armagedon is surely near our hope is within afew years our marriage will be consumated and we will have sweet children...we will defer marriage and pioneer ...we will not see each other for a time.." thats why i dont have kids it all started with this fools book!.

DOC- I lived through those times as well. Do you think it was those protesters that committed violence against buildings that brought about the Civil Rights Act signing by LBJ or the escalating violence against Civili Rights marchers and everyday persons of color by police departments and individuals that moved LBJ to make the CRA Law.

A lesson learned from those in the SDS (Students for a Democratic Society) was that when violence was introduced into the methods of protest it turns out it was the FBI who had planted those people in the movement....

Union Jack Comes Down In Camp Bastion

the flag has been lowered for the last time in camp bastion in helmand province afghanistan.... the baton has been passed to the afghan army.

let's hope they are ready.. "it is with pride that we announce the end of uk combat operations in helmand, having given afghanistan the best possible chance of a stable future.

our armed forces tremendous sacrifice laid the foundations for a strong afghan security force, set the security context that enabled the first democratic transition of power in the countrys history, and stopped it being a launch pad for terrorist attacks in the uk.
