  i am not a christain, but i do read the bible and believe myself to be a reasonabily moral person.

  i have homosexual friends and relatives and would like to see just one bible passage where jesus himself says "men should not lay with men".... perhaps i may have missed it- or perhaps you practice paulianity instead of christianity?????

  LouBelle, thankyou for your input, I know that most christian faiths teach this, from a bible standpoint... I get why homosexuality is portrayed in that light (as bad), but I do not agree.

  I am a deist of sorts (I believe in God- but not as the bible describes/teaches ). I see purpose and cycles in the creation.... We are born of the earth, we live here for a time, then our bodies die and return to the earth (I cant say for certain what happens next or what came before)...

  I see a natural purpose and need for couples to exist who cant 'procreate' for many logical reasons (as well as for the more romantic ones)... couples who can not produce children are available to raise the children of parents who may have died, it also helps to maintain a sustainable population... also- you dont get a say in who you fall in love with. I married a man because I fell in love with a man, if he were a woman... I still would have married him/her (if was legal- the relationship would exist regardless)...

  Not all partnerships, marriages are based on sexual activities... some are life long friends/companions who love each other deeply and choose to share their lives together....

  Sex is just sex! But making love is a physical act of expressing that love shared by two concenting adults (regardless if they are both the same 'gender' or not). Making love is not a dirty subject, although some faiths teach this to be so......

  We are told constantly to "test the spirits"- I have tested you... I find you false, unkind, mean-spirited and anything but discreet.... you are a slave only to the anger and ignorance that is blinding you.....

  I speak only for myself.... I claim no divine revelation.... your words only inspire my upchuck refelexes and you do not posess the compassion necessary to fetch a bowl for a person you would deem 'unrightess' with which to vommit in!!!!!

  I thought the 'knowledge' was verbal untill it was written down many years later after the fact????

  You do as you will!... but you must repect the will of others who do NOT share your view... do unto others oh self rightious one! Hold your self to the letter of the biblical laws but DO NOT implement such on others whose consience is not as yours...

  one does not exist.

  All throughout the passages and books of the bible one can expect to find many times, homosexuality being labled as 'unrightious' a thing to be abhored etc..... The Bible is just a book- and that is my point! So- if one is too follow the BIBLE then to them homosexuality is indeed 'unrightious'.

  If one is too Follow Jesus... then one would only need HIS words as guidence... NOT A BOOK!............

  I fail to see what harm a gay couple is inflicting on anyone by being together... I dont see colour or gender, just people... and if two kind, loving people wish to share their lives together, harming none, doing unto others etc....- THEN WHO THE HELL ARE YOU TO TELL THEM THAT IT IS WRONGE! who are you to judge???

  There is NO male/female in the Spirit Realm- just spirits...

  I dread to ask YOUR opinion of a person with a male spirit in a physical female body..........

  Your blunt self-rightious attitude discusts me.... you do nothing but turn people off from becomming Christians with your hollier than thou BS.... And personally attacking a new member based on your perverted twist on a book is just plain WRONGE! People come to this forum for support, friendship and advice- what do you give??????? by their fruits you will know them!

  I'am now finished with this discussion- I'am... shaking the dust off my feet (so to speak).

  Dont deviate from the task at hand... you cant find one can you???? one little passage of Jesus calling homosexual people 'unrightious'.... that was what I asked...

  circular reasoning does NOT sit well with me.... the bible is not whole... much was 'debated on' and 'left out' and 'rewritten' and all by MEN!

  Labled by whom exactly ????? I dont much care what Paul Labled people, MY question for YOU was simple, Did Jesus say or teach this??? if he DID- then where is the passage that HE STATES THIS????????

  Paul also taught that A woman is NOT permitted to teach.... and yet Jesus said NO SUCH THING..... are you putting the words of Paul before the words of Jesus?????? you claim to be a Christian... are you a Paulian????
