  The thing that stood out to me was the made-up story with the asian women who tried to encourage the other person (at least I am pretty sure it was made up, it was not introduced like she was a real women). She said the other person said some strange things (can't remember the exact words) and I am sure it was referring to things she had supposedly read on the internet critical of the org. The asian women then said she just ignored it.

  i'm currently at a privacy conference and one of the speakers mentioned this creepy facial recognition tool for churches to track their parishioners.

  In all fairness, this could be implemented with low-tec solutions (just taking attendance) and they properly know it is in their best interest not to record it.

  i am inclined to start this thread in response to some comments made in other threads.

  i have been coming around these forum for quite some time now so whatever you find in here is not just related to something someone may have said this week.

  it can go months back as well.. i have seen many who claim to respect the belief of others but when it comes down to applying it into practice, things take a whole different tune.

  The Rebel: I think there is a danger on relying on characters on a tv-show as they really reflect how the screenwriters believe very rational/intuitive people behave. I don't think there is a distinction between being amazingly creative and very rational, see for instance Einstein or other great scientists/mathematicians.

  the trnity to me means the true nature of god essence,attributes each person of the trinity is equal the father the son and the holly spirit all share the devine nature ie three persons of the godhead are all equal in power ,glory and wisdom john 10:30.jesus and his father god are one meaning of the same nature mathew 28.19 jesus said all to be baptised in the name of the father and of the son and the holly ghost reprissenting 3 persons of the godhead to wellcome the devine trinity into your soul .

  It's a bit like this.

  Imagine something which is spherical. Now imagine it is also shaped like a cube.

  So it is cubic and spherical at the same time. This appears impossible since these have different geometrical properties but you got to imagine this thing is both spherical and cubic at the same time because I say so.

  Also it is not changing between spherical or cubic and it is not like it is a sphere painted to look like a cube or something like that; no cheating.

  Now you have the best minds spend 1000 years hammering out the properties of this thing. The only thing you are not allowed to do is ask why one should suppose it exists or why it can't just be a sphere or a cube or a sphere next to a cube, otherwise you will be burned at the stake.

  The end-result will be a bit like the trinity.
