this was all about the issues being addresssed in russia and how the j.w.

's were being oppressed/repressed.. but if you look in the box to the left under "a note to the citizens of russia", you will see that they quote the scripture in luke 12:2 "there is nothing carefully concealed that will not be revealed, and secret that will not become known.".

The only thing they got left is the Freedom of Speech (which they claim is going from door to door) and going against banning of literature (which will most likely be going in favor of the Witnesses).

And what do they do with that freedom of speech?

They go door to door telling people that "Millions Now Living Will Never Die"

The positively will not die.

A governments responsibilty is to protect its society.

The very backbone of all human societies is the family.

Perhaps the Russians have realised the terrible and very overwhelming damage being done to once wholesome family units all over the world by the Watchtower Bible and Tract Societies doctrines.

The societies which, the government is supposed to protect, is being insidiously undermined by lies and injustices in the name of "Religious Freedom".

I think any government is well within its right to protect the society it is supposed to govern.

If an organization came into my country and destroyed hundreds of thousands of families I would consider it an enemy of the society I was mandated to protect.

I would not consider them to be "A Peaceable People" after surveying the tremendous amount of damage done to my society and all other societies around the world. I do not think anyone should be "free" to destroy society through shattering once wholesome family units who are residing in it. In my opinion there is no "Good Name" to protect.

Instead, God's name, Jehovah, is being profaned.

I do not know however, if that is the reason for the Russian opposition to the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society.

If they each spent 27 minutes watching the video they would understand why.

I think its a great idea to use the NWT to present the letter.

Dude...Memorial on Sunday? and the Battle for sd-7 Continues

i've gotten past much of my grieving over the whole marriage-destruction thing, largely by drowning out reality.

i've been even more of a movie-head than usual--and that's saying an awful lot.

also, the quality of my meals has gone down considerably.

I will be celebrating the memorial in my own house.

Do not want Jesus Christ to arrive and find me eating and drinking with the drunkards.

Yes, I believe a time existed when celebrating the memorial was supposed to be a communal event however, towards the end of this system of things the scriptures seem to indicate a more individual and personal celebration would become necessary:

Revelation3:19-22

If it was a communal event then Jesus Christ should have said:

"‘All those for whom I have affection I reprove and discipline. Therefore be zealous and repent. 20 Look! I am standing at the door and knocking. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into his [house] and take the evening meal with him and he with me. 21 To the one that conquers I will grant to sit down with me on my throne, even as I conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne. 22 Let the one who has an ear hear what the spirit says to the congregations.’"

I will come into their [house] and take the evening meal with them and they with me.

But he did not say that!

I will come into his [house] and take the evening meal with him and he with me.

I think this discernment eludes a great number of people which is probably why Jesus Christ made the careful admonition:

Let the one who has an ear hear what the spirit says to the congregations.
