  Do you still believe in God?

  i never thought i would admit it, but i don't.

  i might superstitiously have some kind of doubt but digging a bit deeper in my heart i really don't believe in god.

  as a human i could never just sit and watch people be tortured, live years of abuse, suffer from illness and disabilities and all the other awful things people have to endure day after day without doing something about it.

  The Evolution of the Awake's Back Cover

  i don't think anyone's actually considered this, but a post in the extj.com forum made me think about the many changes (not just one) on the back cover of the awake!

  magazine.

  thanks to avoidjw.org for scanning all of the magazines in pdf format, since there is a lot lost with the wt library.. take a look at the following paragraphs in the awake´s back cover throughout the years:awake!

  2009 Awake Bound Volume Needed!

  we are in need of a 2009 awake bound volume to complete the magazine project for avoidjw.

  i have been able to scan 2 issues which are october and december, but we are in need of the other 10 issues for that year.

  or, if someone has some pdfs of the awake's for that year we can bundle them together and send them over to avoidjw.. .

  the center for investigative journalism whose website is now called revealnews.org, has an entire section on stories being investigated by their staff and others on how the watchtower is handling child abuse cases.. "the jehovah’s witnesses have systematically instructed leaders to keep child sexual abuse secret from law enforcement and members of their own congregations.

  please share you thoughts on this issue because i really would like to know when the governing body and their lawyers are going to properly address this issue because i can't worship in a place that allows dangerous men in, that's what they accused the catholic church of doing and now here it is that they are caught doing the same thing but have not expressed any concern for the victims.

  Yes, this is correct. The authorities in the Watchtower shoot their wounded. They believe child rape is a sin, not a crime. With the Bible to prop them up, they are doing immeasurable harm.

  Circuit visit elders meeting

  historically the elders meeting with the circuit overseer has had the following format : outline for meeting including ministerial servants then, after they have been dismissed, discussion of local issues.

  the last visit there was an additional outline for the elders only, the notorious "gender blurring" discussion.. you might wonder what is being discussed this time round, so here you are:.

  GodZoo is incorrect about Walt Disney selecting the right colour pencils for the 1995 and 2004 Mickey Mouses in the image provided. Walt Disney died in 1966.

  my lovely wife warned me from the upper floor: close the windows, brother x is at the front door.

  so, there they are again, for their required visit before the memorial.

  i don't like it, you never hear from them, only in the week before the memorial.

  Maybe you should call them on it. Open the door and say "Hey, it must be Memorial time again. You guys did this last year, and the year before that. Do you have a checklist or something? Listen, I am not only 100% NOT interested in this, I really don't like your shallow attempt at showing 'love'. Shove off and never come back."
