If the Society says "JUMP!"
by nicolaou inthe dubs say;.
rank and file "oh okay".
pioneer "how high?".

Can I count the time I spend in Jumping? Where do I record my Jumps on the report slip? Is there a minimum amount of hours I should spend Jumping each month? What about informal jumping? Business Jumping? Car park Jumping? Telephone Jumping? I can’t wait till I have been Jumping for 1 year, then I am off to the Jumping School.....
If I get myself a trampoline with 4 doors, or a 7 seater trampoline, I can really help the b & s in my Congo expand the Jumping work......
All this Jumping just makes me want to lay down, I’m tired of Jumping , but my C/O, Bro Jumping Jack Flash told me that now is not the time to be resting, we are so close to the end, one more Jump and we are almost there......

Who Knows about Voting Being a Conscience Matter?
by jamiebowers inhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ayoq98pt6js.

Hi JB,
The w/t (about 2 years ago I think) had an article stating that if you lived in a country (like me, in Australia) where it is compulsory to vote, if your conscience allows it, you can attend the voting booth and register to show that you have legally attended. Then if you decided to register a vote or abstain, well that is up to you. (Vote 1 Peter Griffin)
In Australia, we get fined for not voting if the Government does not accept your reason to not vote. The past 5 years has seen the Australian government start fining more & more jw's. So despite the w/t article highlighting that you can just go and register that you have been to the voting booth without actually casting a vote, 100% of j/w's here will still take the fine. I showed that article to an elder I was close with once and he said (despite how clear the article was written) that we would still refrain from going to a polling booth so as not to stumble anyone!
Yeah, well my fine is coming out of my congo donations then.....

How common is swinging among JWs?
by JimmyPage inmy wife and i recently heard about two couples we know who switched partners in the past.
we then got to talking about a different couple we ate dinner with a while back who i thought gave off the vibe of wanting to swing.
my wife said she got that vibe too... thus the question: how common is this in wt-land?.

Pioneer School - Class Photo
by Mattieu inhi all, at the conclusion of my pioneer school we took a group photo with the instructors.
we had to chip in $$ to hire a professional photographer (who was a brother).
it is a custom with all pioneer schools in australia to take a class photo with the instructors (much like gilead photo).. do they do that in any other countries?

Do they do that in any other countries? Or is that just a local thing here?? I look back at the pioneer school photo and hardly any of the pioneers in that class form the late 1980's are still active, let alone alive (see previous posting on suicide). I would love to post that pic, but it would identify me, so maybe later ion in time I will...
At my last MS school (2006 I think), we did the same thing, though I distinctly remember during the photo shoot that this would be the last MS school I would go to (serious doubts emerging).
Say cheese, Mattieu.
PS - If you were in a photo shoot (for the pioneer school that is), did they make you close your eyes and on the count of 1,2,3 open your eyes for the shot?? Our photographer said that is how they do the Gillead photo! I never looked at a Gilead photo again since without thinking of that comment... (A@G and ATJ, your comments please...)

If they can shun......so can I
by KAYTEE inlet me first say that i believe in god, in jesus and the holy spirit.
therefore to hear the watchtower liken us who have been df, ( in our case asking questions about u.n. paedophiles 607 etc ) liken us to the first apostate the devil i find them judgmental in the extreme, not surprised but very offensive.. thanks to "flipper" with his thread i have decided to ban my brother in law from coming to my home, this year he intends to come over from spain where the need is great, ............the wine.and the beaches very nice too.. he is going to visit his mother who now because of dementia lives with us.. he will not be allowed on my premises at all, he will pick mum up at the front gate.. as a witness you must accept what the so called boffins tell you.. therefore if he can align himself with thinking that way, of his sister and myself then he is not welcome.. i will only accept him in my home when he gets out of her (babylon the great).

ok, forget the wine (though I wont tonight). Just ask him what would Jesus do????? So many times when I was growing up (still am at the age of 40) elders, w/t and my mum used to say "what would Jesus do in this situation?" Now, they dont dare ask that question because the society is doing exactly the opposite of what Jesus would do.
Amen, Mattieu.

Asilentone, what the wine part or the coercing part? If its the wine part, would that be because Spanish wine taste blahhhh? If so, let me send over a dozen PREMIUM Australian wines...
If what was the bit about the coercion, can we still do the wine part?

Have you heard
by John Doe inof the secret multi national plan to unify and socialize world governments?
in a recent top secret meeting held in switzerland that no one has access to and no one knew about, plans were discussed to develop computerized tracking and accounting devices that will be blood borne.
the "bug" is to be dissiminated through jet trails and a stronger version is to be included in mandatory childhood immunizations.

Hmmm,
The "bug" is to be dissiminated through jet trails
Just my luck, I was down at the pig farm near the airport yesterday feeding my swine when some fighter jets/A380's and 747's all took off at one time leaving me and my pigs clouded in this type of vapour trails you talk about.
Not feeling too good..................
