  two years ago (june 21) i lost my older brother after a long struggle with alcohol/depression.. i've put off making an 'announcement' about his passing for a long time now, as i don't really like.

  posting personal information on this board.

  but, i continue to hear from people just finding out .

  But a few people who do post on here knew him, and I didn't know if they had heard of his passing or not.

  Two years ago (June 21) I lost my older brother after a long struggle with alcohol/depression.

  I've put off making an 'announcement' about his passing for a long time now, as I don't really like

  posting personal information on this board. But, I continue to hear from people just finding out

  about it, and I thought I should finally post this for anyone out there that knew him.

  Although obnoxious and difficult at times, Shawn had many friends. Probably more than I'll ever have,

  even if I live twice as long as he did. I miss him a lot.
