  Slow down like the others have said here. You will chase him away for sure if you rush things. Also DO NOT spend time with his child unless things do get serious down the road...its not fair to the child to get attached to you if there is no commitment in the relationship.

  has anyone noticed how many spanish kingdom halls there are in nc?

  most are shared by the english speaking congregations.

  of course there are other spanish churches also.

  In Wilmington NC they went from very small spanish congregation to 3 large spanish congregations in about 10-12 years. I feel this is the only real growth in the US.

  thought you'd like to know about the latest fad rippling through the jw community.

  it is home-based get-rich-quick business offerings.. a whois search at network solutions (http://www.networksolutions.com/whois/index.jsp) shows the owner of the following websites.

  it turns out this owner is a well known congregation coordinator (aka presiding overseer).. www.ontrack2succeed.com.

  Thanks Barb I will be sure to call the WTS and ask about this, I'm sure they would be interested in "The Secret". I don't even have to check out their websites as Im sure they get everyone hyped up and claim its not a MLM and of course you will spend thousands on their online classes teaching you how to sell their products. Thats how they are making the big money...not from selling their crap but preying on those suckers that will give them the money to teach them how to sell crap!

  At the 1988 Memorial and married her exactly 1 year later on April Fools day! We divorced last feb, then I heard about 3 months ago she met a brother and now I hear they are getting married soon! JW's don't waste any time in getting married!

  read whatever books i wanted, even apostate ones over the years.

  Cancelled bookstudy- but do you remember 4 day Assemblies!!!

  assemblies used to go for 5 days which caused problems for brothers with work so....it was changed to thursday to sunday......then half of thursday to sunday.....then 3 days only.

  does anyone remember this....i remember 3 and a half days.

  Jeremy c I took it a step further. Not only did I take off the badge...I also went and changed into street clothes and then went out to eat!!!
