I have been around this and other sites around the web for some time now, but haven't posted here till now. A little about myself, I am from South Africa and DA'd in January 2005. At the time it was for different reasons than what I would DA if I had to do it again today!

I grew up in this religion (Hate to say "The Truth" these days, what a misnomer at best!) with a very staunch single Mother. I can tell you stories that will let your hair stand on end!

I vacillate still between calling myself a Christian or just a plain Humanist or even a Secular Humanist, can you believe that! However my priorities have changed 180 degrees since getting out. My mother is still in and still believes their drivel, we do however have discussions and I chat with a few other JW's that I still know and have contact with.

I only hate the WTB&TS and related religions and their leaders and propagators - not the sheeple under their control. That holds true for all the religions out there in my opinion.

If any of you want to know more - please feel free to PM me or I can post it here as well.

I have been researching the Bible and History etc in general now for the last 3.5 years and indeed as I stated, have very different views now and way more knowledge now than when I was studying the "Knowledge" and other simple books as issued by "The Borg" (I like that one).

On to the serious stuff. I am doing research into specific areas or subjects if you will, ie love, death, etc. I use to firstly debunk the drivel from the WTB&TS and just to basically start them on a path to reason and self thought. Now a collaborative effort gives results far quicker and also different insights than going the whole ten yards by yourself.

From time to time I would like to request help with certain subjects and would appreciate your input. What set me thinking was the post sometime ago about Noah and if the people were indeed warned by our mate Noah under instruction from Jehovah.

Reading the scriptures and comparing to the Hebrew and Greek it seems that Jehovah decided to wipe out everything and just liked Noah and spared him and his family. Therefore the WTB&TS stating that the Matthew & Luke renditions prove that Noah preached is absolutely false (just another abomination of the NT from them).

Here goes to my first question:

1. The WTB&TS claims that we will all be reunited with friends and family in the new system.

1.1 Please prove to me using the scriptures where exactly they get that hope from, OT and / or NT

1.2 Also prove to me that married couples that didn't remarry after a spouse died will be reunited as well.

I don't care if you give me reasons that we will see one another on Earth or in Heaven or even on another planet. Just give me reasons why we will / or will not be reunited with loved ones.

As far as I can tell from my research is that are none - family / friends die and that is it. You do not ever see that person again - ever.
