  The Jehovah's Witness Definition of the Word "Soon"

  howdy guys and gals!.

  forget the word "generation", the watchtower society has completely spun another word - "soon".. how many times did you (do you) hear jehovah's witnesses tell each other "the end is coming soon"?.

  It seems whenever the WTS's own publications no longer hold any validity, they get taken out of print and a new piece of literature

  gets published with supposedly New and better light. And as always if anyone poses any direct contravening questions about any

  article or doctrine they immediately get demonised for doing so, kicked out of the organization.

  There is a constant evolution of creating bullshit, finding people who are in acceptance and who are in total subservient agreement to their bullshit

  and dissipating people who are objectionable to their bullshit.

  To people who've never done any research on this religious organization, they might very well think this is all new information

  by the WTS. never before released. One hundred years from now, one could expect the WTS. will still be saying the End is Near on the front covers

  of their magazines and literature.

  Its apart of the marketing strategy for the WTS. since its inception as a religious publishing house.

  Fear mongering charlatanism at its finest, sadly some unsuspecting individual will be caught by this and start studying with a JWS.

  Didn't they recently put a picture of an atomic bomb going off on the front cover of one their magazines, either the Awake or Watchtower ?

  Cranking up the fear is one way to remove attention from the WTS's other old false prophetic doctrines.

  Ultimately it is the child who should stop the abuse according to the GB!

  on page 171 of the "learn from the great teacher" book published in 2003 it shows a picture of a very cute little girl holding a ragged ann doll.

  she is sitting on a chair in her bedroom with her hand out toward a man that is coming toward her.. the paragraphs say "so just as jesus needed protection, you also need to be protected from grown-ups-and even from other children-who may try to have sex with you.

  usually, these people will pretend to be your friends.

  This is exacerbated by the artificially low incidence of reported sex abuse within the witnesses; many, even posters here, express disbelief that it is as prevalent as it is. This is a result of the suppression of reporting.

  Yes I would have to agree, JWs think that pedophilia is only a problem among Satan's religions of Christendom .

  The WTS have been white washing this problem for the sake of protecting their own public image and now they are

  literally paying the price for doing so. Putting pedophilia along and together as just a common sin as adultery and fornication would be

  was the wrong action to take, thats why this kind of behavior levies such severe penalties, its not deemed as just a sin its deemed

  as a grievous crime against innocence.

  The WTS. has been proclaiming this now for decades, all through the early 1900's ..... right through the mid 1900's ..... right up to present day in 2012.

  Its kind of marketing strategy to invoke people to press on with distributing the WTS's own published literature.

  As well its heightens attention to the unknowing public that god is going to destroy this world soon.

  We are living in the last days and if one is to save themselves from destruction one should quickly join the Watchtower Corporation and

  become a publishing distributer of the WTS. publications. ( Sales Representative )

  The WTS. is really a publishing house and acts appropriately in the commercialization and proliferation of its published works.

  I suppose this article was the WTS. attempt to warn and perhaps instruct children how to conduct themselves

  in instances of someone making inappropriate sexual advances toward themselves.

  The disturbing part to this story is that the child isn't being duly warned about JWS men and woman, even elders,

  who carry a supposed white sheet of righteousness over themselves and are being notably trusted within the congregation

  of where the child attends. The typical mindset of JWS through their indoctrination is that people outside of their congregations are all evil

  and wicked but people who are JWS are wholesome and righteous so therefore appropriately trusted with a sense of security.

  Unfortunately certain people have exploited this psychological social arrangement within the JW organization to their own advantage

  and have victimized children who were being placed in a position of trust.

  "new lite" = time ran out... has anyone noticed how the wts keeps quoting genesis 6:3, the scripture on a generation lasting 120 years?

  they did it again in yesterdays wt study.

  Are you kidding........there is plenty in the news for them to grab hold of:

  They have always pointed out world events as signs of the last days. ( must try to bring some viability to their doctrines )

  Of course intelligent educated people know that these events have been occurring for thousands of years and more.

  Thinking educated people know that these said signs also occurred in abundance in ancient times when those words were actually written

  and yes they were difficult times to deal with for those people as well.

  I wouldn't define it as hate but every religion selectively creates their own doctrines, cherry picking scripture to supposedly support that doctrine.

  At the same time one could pick out scriptures to contravene their own self created interpretations.

  The WTS publishing house have only selected certain scriptures from the gospels for exploitation purposes to enhance their literature proliferation

  and distribution.

  if i were convincing you to invest your life savings in a guranteed investment based on "insider" information that made the payoff a sure thing.

  and you acted to seize the opportunity---nobody would blame you for taking the plunge.. if i assured you....reassured you....repeatedly that the payoff and reward was "any day now" you might well hang in there for a long time.. .

  but, at a certain point, your patience and trust would wear thin and a serious request for proof of legitimacy would hang heavy in the air.. .
