So what was it like at the beginning of JWD? Maybe you were the first one here. Maybe there were just a few of you. Was it lonely? How does it compare to now? With all the new ones coming in do you feel more justified in your view of the WTBTS?

i have enjoyed seeing this musician explode upon the music scene in the last 15 years or so.

his mix of blues, jazz, rock & roll with great musicians playing uncommon instruments seen in a rock band - make his music all the more interesting !

here are some of my favorite cd's and songs by him and his band .

Dave Matthews is funny for me because I only like his slow songs (like "Crash"). I hate his fast ones (like "Ants Marching").

i have been fading for years now and attend meetings very rarely these days.

but something happened recently to make me think about going regularly again.

a couple have returned to my congregation who used to be special pioneers here twenty years ago.

Leaving the Organization but not the teachings

when i left the witnesses in 1992 after ten years in the orgainzation, i got as far away from the teachings and mindest as i could.

however some, like my former brother-in-law, also left, but are intent on finding ways to reform the society from within since he believes in the society as being of god, but that it has become misguided and is slowly drifting to "christendom" status.

one of the things he cites as evidence is the wtbts become aligned with the united nations.

I know for myself that even though I've faded in the past and now only attend because of marriage that it's still a new thought for me that there may be no Armageddon and this old world may just keep on turning for the rest of my life.
