i mean, i don't doubt that jws were persecuted in ww2 but no one can compete with the jews when it comes to this.
did it seem to you like a case of "no one gets more persecution than us jehovah's witnesses, and that includes you, jewish people"?

Austria however has so far failed to recognise Jehovah's Witnesses fully as a religious group. I find that quite remarkable given their history, and the fact that much smaller groups such as the Mormons have been granted religious status.
Maybe it's not as remarkable as some may think. The most infamous JW in the entire world is an Austrian.

I'm only a layman in (the philosophical aspects of) cosmological discussions, but I'm wondering why space and time can't be infinite. For that's exactly what the cyclical model proposed by Steinhardt (Princeton) & Turok (Cambridge) puts forwards. It seems to me that religion appropriates itself the notion of "infinity".

If there's something in this world which doesn't rely on believing it's the rigor of the scientific method. I don't say though that all scientists have the discipline to do so.
