A JW contact in Germany who is involved in international WT building projects said that JW in Greece are upset. The old Bethel buildings there had allegedly become too small and JW in Greece were in need of a new building, a bigger one. When the new one was finished, the old buildings could not be sold. So, the WTS decided to sell the newly built Bethel and stay in the old buildings. Even the loyal JWs are upset because this has been done in secret without any communication to the local congregations. Can anyone confirm?

OldHippie, this separation between CC and WTS is a rather new concept also outside the US. It was introduced first in Germany in 1999. This was related to their legal case to be registered as a privileged church of public law.

Is anyone left at Bethel who knew Judge Rutherford?
by VM44 indoes any of our former bethel workers know if there is anyone still at bethel (brooklyn) that personally knew judge rutherford?.
rutheford died in 1942, so there is a very real possibility that there is now no one around who knew the man.. as for charles taze russell, he died in 1916 and so there is no one still alive who knew him, let alone even met him!
even a baby born in 1916 would be 92 years old today!.

Sorry, I do not see the point. Where excatly do they spin the quote? Keep in mind, the WT no longer teaches that there has been an increase in earthquakes since 1914.
