Nice to know a little more about you, BADBOY...
I also love to travel. Have been to a few places, but my dream is to see Peru. I also enjoy history. As for science...hhmm...you kinda lost me there:-(
Being disabled, you must see your computer as a blessing. I know I have visited Peru many times...sitting in my computer room:-)

i have a question about my religion.
when people turn apostate, why do they seem kinda... weird.
they turn back to false teachings and their bible knowledge even proves that.
1Co 7:23 YOU were bought with a price; stop becoming slaves of men.
Take care, nimzo...God bless~
dear friends,.
much of what we do on a daily basis is routine and of no particular, earth-shaking importance.
however, after reviewing letters of family going back to wwii, it is fascinating to read what dad was doing on board the aircraft carrier in the pacific on any old day, what mom was cooking on her ever-steaming range, how i was dealing with the roller coaster of emotion at bethel [mom saved all my letters], how nana wrote that she would not study with the witnesses [per my request] but 'here are some mittens i knitted for you when you canvass new york with your magazines.
Monday is book study day for me.
I must tell my study conductor that this is not getting me anywhere.
I still have to find the right approach.
No matter her beliefs, she is a good person.
I also have to face the facts that she will drop me like a hot potato.
No one enjoys being discarded.
Anyway, it is a beautiful albeit chilly morning in my part of the world. Wishing you all a great day.
God bless~

Welcome to the forum...
Keep in mind that many leave the JWs after years, often a lifetime, of serious programming and brainwashing. Whether they turn apostate or not, they need time to re-adjust...big time!
It's all a matter of perspective. You see them as kinda weird. How do you think they see active JWs, being fed lies day after day, shunning family members and friends when they are told to do so, following a cult governed by a body of a few men pulling all the strings? To me, it may not be weird. But certainly very sad.
God bless~
