I have yet to hear a answer to support my logic..
I doubt very much you will.
I think your supposition that we all are "Godless heathens" because we debate utter nonsense is completely out of line.
I can only speak for myself and about myself with complete certainty , and this holds true for anyone , to base reason on broad generalities is foolish beyond belief.
Btw I'm not completely sure anyone said anything about there being no God , just the lack of compelling proof of the existence of the tyrannical and petty being depicted in the old testament.

by SickofLies inthere seems to be a lot of hostility on the board toward atheists still and a lot of comments floating around like atheists are to preachy.
well i want to take a quick minute and deal with some of these issues.
to begin with, to make any statement regarding atheists in general would be false for several reasons.

All that we experince is within us, completely valid scientific proof.
That being said some experiences are ,, difficult to quantify within accepted scientific parameters . so we must do what all people do when we experience things , use these experiences to better ourselves and the greater shared existence as well to the best of our ability.
Some experince things that allow greater understanding in an undeniable way , some do not , the latter are usually identifiable as "pushy" or "narrow minded and disagreeable" the former are the ones who promote love and completness , ooh ,like Mother Theresa or Ghandi or even Martin Luther King , Albert Einstien is prolly my favorite person ,oh wait there is Ghustav Jung too , quite a few peole have had this experience of which I allude and it does have impact , but in the end it is just an experience no different than any other, perhaps a bit more compelling though.

I have been exposed to a lot of theologies and some suggest that at one point god was ,get this ,bored,and decided to play hide and seek with himself and thus willed a seperation between parts of himself to be made manifest.
Hence we are all just playing a cosmic game of hide and seek and when we discover the source we realize the joke and just GET OVER IT and get on with waking up the others to this reality that is there.
Thats one idea that I've seen expressed more than once, kinda what Jesus was talking about actually , hmmm,
But this idea put forth by buhddists , jews and muslims alike , also some independant spiritualists have claimed to experienced this first hand .
Perhaps this is the "creative force" that is driving the car of this reality towards it's whatever?
