24 Hour Party People
by clash_city_rockers inhas anyone seen 24 hour party people?
it gives props to the madchester music seen from the punk days of the late 70's throu the rave culture in the early 90's.
it is sort of a docu-drama that captures the life of such bands as the buzzcocks, joy division and the life of ian curtis, new order, a certian ratio, durutti collumn, and that loser shawn ryder and his band the happy mondays.

A song for the painful awakening from the "truth"
by Fe2O3Girl ini was listening to a disney compilation with my little son at the weekend, and it struck me how this song applies to those just finding the truth about the "truth" - a painful and scary process, especially if you have known no other life.
when you rush around in hopeless circles.
searching ev'rywhere for something true.
