Has anyone seen 24 Hour Party People? It gives props to the Madchester music seen from the punk days of the late 70's throu the rave culture in the early 90's.
It is sort of a docu-drama that captures the life of such bands as The Buzzcocks, Joy Division and the life of Ian Curtis, New Order, A Certian Ratio, Durutti Collumn, and that loser Shawn Ryder and his band the Happy Mondays. Granted the Mondays had some cool tunes like "Halalua"
