  first off hello to all this being my first post i probably should have talk about some other subject but then again not being very smart i just don't know any better.

  first off myself my wife and my daughter where bible studies for two years my son said no way would he be involved any how after about five years of pounding the door we decided to give it a go.

  i was one that just have a hard time believing that the bible is the word of god i mean it was written by man and today we put these type in a padded room you know the voices in my head type.. any way after these two years we had a change in who we studied with this was good i think as it was the knife that severed the lead we had seen many different things that where said one way then the other a few things that where in the wt that where bull and what really got to me and the wife was the judging of others for crying out loud they made a issue about my daughter dieing her hair and always seemed to judge all other religions then in their next word would say not to judge others.. we had been avoiding letting them come to study was always busy even if it was watching nascar lol my girl has been going through some what we see as normal teenage things trying to figure out who and what she is we have never in are life said do not be friends with this or that type are kids have friends that are nice to strange to gay but why should that matter hell they are not going to cause you to become gay as the jws seem to think.

  Thank you for the replies I have done searches and am reading allot more these days. I have to say allot of things on this board are Questions that we tried to ask but always got what I called the round table talk they where great at going around the questions.

  As you probably figured I am a mason and a shriner as well have been a mason for 14 years only in shrine for 3 years now I really enjoy being able to take children that most likely would not get help and drive them on what ends up being like a 17 hr to 48 hr trip all free of charge to them and then to see the child that they said would not see 5 years old now 15 and doing very well for what he/she has been through as far as I am concerned everyone should try and help each other. You know one thing that always got me was how they would talk about association and how they are friends with only JWs so they will not have temptation and so on but when I said that in my opinion if others are not good enough to be your friends and they are evil then how is it you accept there money isn't that like taking money from the hands of satin that always made them go round and round. If I am not good enough to talk to then don't try to sell me something my money isn't good either.

  Currently reading The WT & The Mason by Fritz Springmeier Maybe that will shed a little light on it for me. Thank you all for all this great info.

Lets face it you are who you are any way they came over I stayed down stairs said wasn't up for it They said they wanted to talk about the WT and in it was basically do you know a church that does this or that you know judging others my with told them if it is about that then she would rather not disuse it they insisted my girl stopped them and ask Hey if I where gay does that mean you would not have anything to do with me the guy answered her with yes that’s correct she slammed the bible on the table and said I am done with this shit

  he ask the wife if she wanted to go on with the study she replied if it is about judging other religions no that’s wrong they tried to get her to see it there way and finally he got up said where done here and his wife tried to ask my wife if she wanted to go on he said NO we are done here. I being down stairs never heard any of it. Later I get a phone call from the guy who I first studied with he sad we want to talk with you guys I said no thanks he said your not shunned or anything I answered you are please just leave us to hell alone do not call me again if its about the JWs if you want to call as a friend great other wise no thanks I mean we really had become good friends with the first couple never heard from again. I did learn allot and do want to continue to be a Christian but now need to find some place that we can trust that really made it hard to trust other religions any suggestions are welcome.

  Back to my Question is there really a relationship with the masons and the JWS and if so why do the JWs not want masons in the JWs I mean they seemed dead set against them. And masons wither different from many years ago or what I don't really know do allot of good things for any one that needs the help by this I guess I am pointing to the shiners and there free hospitals for kids as well as many other things. And as for masons They won't let a JW in they say they do not believe in a supreme being. I know I am asking for trouble here but I really would like to Understand this and see how others feel about the subject thanks for all replies
