We are. Sure there will likely be life here no matter what we do, but our actions are making the Earth less human friendly, and we are changing it very rapidly on a geologic scale. Everytime there have been rapid changes there have been mass extinctions.

At least with the Duggars their oldest kids can help out with all the work. This woman's kids are all under 8.
I'm all for women's rights and prochoice and all, but there has to be a point at which the rights of the individual end and the rights of society begin. The doctor should've refused to do the treatment based on the number of kids she already had and her economic situation. Unless maybe her family signed off on something saying that they would support her and her children. There's two points of failure here; the mother who is likely not playing with a full deck, and a doctor with questionable ethics.

I'm at work, but it's on a screen here. No sound at the moment though, some one usually puts a spectralink phone by a TV somewhere then makes a conference call so we can all listen to it in the control room.

Has anyone been affected by the poor economy?
by heyfea inevery weekend we used to spend a few hundred dollars going out to lunch.
but since less than a year, we no longer go out.
my husband business has been very slow, and on top of that, the management companies he does work for, do not pay him right away.

Not personally yet, but I've been squirreling away extra money into savings, and cut back on non essential spending.
