How many Gallons Per Minute does your shower use?
by Elsewhere inthe low-flow, high-efficiency ones use about 1.6 gpm (gallons per minute).. .
to find out what your show is using, get a 1 gallon container from your kitchen and time how long it takes to fill it up with your shower.
then devide 60 by that number of seconds.

I'm not sure, but I took out the flow restrictor on my shower head. I'm a bad enviromentalist.

Trust in Jehovah in these hard economic times--but send us money
by Bonnie_Clyde inclyde has heard from two sources that a letter was read at the meeting last week.
after encouragement to trust in jehovah, they suggested that each publisher send about $5.70 to the society each month to help support the organization.
that's the way he heard it.

The fixed monthly contribution thing gave me an idea.
The WTBTS should start an MMORPG. World of WatchtowerCraft, and like other MMORPGs charge a monthly fee.
"I'm a level 42 Ministerial Servant! Check out my +3 Bookbag of placement. It gives me +2 Charisma, and it has a 'Summon: Egg McMuffin' ability!"
Oh yes, it'd be real fun.

Is Religion for Middle Class People?

For the controlled.
Religion is, indeed, the self-consciousness and self-esteem of man who has either not yet won through to himself, or has already lost himself again. But man is no abstract being squatting outside the world. Man is the world of man—state, society. This state and this society produce religion, which is an inverted consciousness of the world, because they are an inverted world. Religion is the general theory of this world, its encyclopedic compendium, its logic in popular form, its spiritual point d'honneur, its enthusiasm, its moral sanction, its solemn complement, and its universal basis of consolation and justification. It is the fantastic realization of the human essence since the human essence has not acquired any true reality. The struggle against religion is, therefore, indirectly the struggle against that world whose spiritual aroma is religion. Religious suffering is, at one and the same time, the expression of real suffering and a protest against real suffering. Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the people. The abolition of religion as the illusory happiness of the people is the demand for their real happiness. To call on them to give up their illusions about their condition is to call on them to give up a condition that requires illusions. The criticism of religion is, therefore, in embryo, the criticism of that vale of tears of which religion is the halo. - Carl Marx

If that character was more assertive it would've said "Gimme my ten million dollars!" instead of fainting.

This is serious SacLoon!
Oh fine. I'll be serious. But I'll still question the seriousness of Bek's answer.
I want some of the old smilies back.
8. Woodrow Wilson (He led us carefully into WWI when it was needed, though not popular; a visionary who saw the need for a worldwide body to bring together the nations of the world. The League failed, but the UN endures, and it still owes its thanks to Wilson)
I don't know about that. One could argue that if we hadn't entered into WWI the allied powers wouldn't have been able to impose the Versailles treaty with all its reparations on Germany which paved the way for the National Socialists' rise to power.

Didn't Harrison die of pneumonia a few months after taking office? I bet if he had muttonchops like Arthur he would've stayed warm and lived.
