  Did You Believe That Gambling Was A Sin?

  i never did!

  i thought it was in the long run, dumb to do, but i never felt a person should be expelled from the congregation for "greediness" just because a person buys lottery tickets or raffles.. (by the way, i enjoy moderate gambling.

  I went to Shreveport, LA with a friend once to see what gambling was all about, and I didn't find it fun at all. I don't think it's a sin anymore, I just think it's boring and a waste of money.

  GPS... WTF?

  my poor kids are with their dad this weekend and it entails the, you guessed it, dc.

  i got a text from the eldest this afternoon saying that gps is "god's protective spirit" then: "omg mom, wtf?

  this is soooo lame i'm dying of boredom here!".

  I remember as a kid we'd (our family) go down to the park by the river and watch the fireworks. A few times we even brought sparklers! Other stuff was illegal so all you could get were sparklers, those little poppers you threw on the ground, and the snake things that were flaming turd generators.

  Maybe if my parents weren't so... liberal... I would've rebelled and not have gone though my pompous righteous stage. Ha, maybe I rebelled by becoming pompous and righteous.

  it was a picture about those who would take a final stand against the new world order like a camp outside of the true worshippers.

  so satan would be let loose for a little period and then anyone who agrees with satan ...ends up looking like keith richards with earings and is deserving of death.. anyone remember the pic?.
