Yes, Europa is water ice. Titan has lots of methane, but I don't think there's much if any water in any state there.

Could it be dry ice? Dry ice would sublimate too.
There's ice and probably water underneath it on Jupiter's moon Europa, and maybe water in Saturn's moon Enceladus, but they're not sure if the tidal forces are enough to keep it warm enough for water. -

You should be thankful that these corporations aren't employing expensive American workers with all those regulations, and with their high standards of living. A corporation needs to put its shareholders' interests first by maximizing profits. If a few Americans slip from the middle class, and some get killed from shoddy products who cares? As long as they meet their earnings estimates.

Questions Dubs Need to Ask About Global Warming
by Farkel inok. i lied.
dubs have nothing to do with this thread!.
in order to have a rational discussion about global warming and the so-called greenhouse effect, we need a rational starting point and need to ask rational questions.

JWs and Star Trek...
by Thylacine inone part of my experience with the jw's was that many of the elders in my congreagtion were die hard into star trek...i figured it was isolated to that one kh, but as i went to different ones, i noticed it was a lot of them.
one elder explained his fandom as: "it makes me think of the new system.
we will travel to other planets when the earth is full, and colonize the galaxy.

In the alternate universe would evil Riker be clean shaven? I suppose in the first season evil Riker could have a goatee.

Oh no a witness ship. Quick activate the cloaking device, maybe they wont see us and try to beam over watchtowers like they did last time.
I was a big Star Trek fan, I remember the same line of thinking about colonizing other worlds. As I recall most of this was based off of speculation of the what the "other scrolls" would be that were to be opened after armageddon.
I lost intrest in the shows after the first season or two of Voyager, but I still like TNG. I thought the half klingon girl was more attractive than 7 of 9. B'elanna, or something I think was her name. :p Never seen a single episode of Enterprise though.
