  if you had unlimited skills, time and web space and cost was no object, what kind of xjw web site would you build and why?

  do you think there is a need for more types of site?

  i ask this as part of my market research for building a site.

  Now there are hundreds of xjw websites on the net and lot of quality articles & material...but its
  hard to find a site that has it all...the closest is probably wt observer...so idea of our website
  was..."the best of xjw" or all the best links to xjw material, few eye-opening articles, inviting
  and clear design and regular updating of the page & news
  
  what more can be done? surely, the interactive webpages have future...with all that flash
  possibilities...also, when creating xjw page, one should always put something unique on it...
  something, that has not been published anywhere else
  
  oh yeah, and good organisation is the key

  Recently there was Jehovahs Witnesses assembly in Tivoli Hall, Slovenia. The ceremonial topic of the meeting was the apocalypse which is already knocking at our doors. Brother Leon Miklavcic explained to all the present audience the plan about the annihilation or transformation into non-existence of five billion individuals who do not follow the right rules and do not believe in the right god.
  
  Some similar convincing effort can be found in their publication Awake! which some indefatigable activists delivered to passers-by.
  
  The previous issue wrote about the world peace, Gods violent instructions and eternal punishment. The latest edition is almost entirely dedicated to the police, without it our world could be governed by anarchy.
  
  Although the state internal organs are still needed they will not be necessary in the future anymore. Jehovah will establish a heavenly kingdom where the police should not be needed and we shall all be sitting everyone under our own vine and under our own fig-tree and we shall not be scared by anyone. There will be no pornography which is one of the main topics of this fanzine.
  
  Pornography and even a thought about fornication are in the opinion of Jehovahs Witnesses directly linked to rape and violence. In the course of time pornography users force their partners to practise unusual sexual activities which may put them away from God.
  
  Pornography is improper, because it exhibits publicly the most intimate personal activities. It is disgusting because it humiliates man and makes him behave as an animal. It is unloving since it does not stimulate tenderness or respect. It stimulates but egoistic lust...Anything offered by pornography is harmful. This is not quite compatible with the scripture. Besides some detail instructions for sexual relations can be found right in the Bible: May your fountain be blessed, and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth. A loving doe, a graceful deer- may her breasts satisfy you always, may you ever be captivated by her love. (Proverbs 5:18,19)

  The former members do not agree with the teachings of the organisation. They designed their own website where they call public attention to the inadmissible policy of the leadership. They came to the assemby of their former brothers and sisters and stack flyers about their hiding information and mind control. Nevertheless they were not able not carry out the action up to the end because the guards drove them away and destroyed the flyers. Obviously the public has no right to be informed that the leadership through the harmful policy against paedophilia hurt many children, and that the prohibition of abstaining from blood owing to the sanctity of blood overlooked the sanctity of human life itself.

  How to treat excommunicated believers
  
  If you are an independent thinker and you do not like to accept any idea that is served to you, you are likely to risk the disfellowshippment from your favourite religious organisation. This has happened to some Jehovahs Witnesses as well. In the 32nd issue of our magazine we reported about their dispute at the recent Jehovahs Witnesses assembly. The ex-members revealed us some details which do not have much in common with spirituality. The magazine Watchtower which is printed in numerous languages is in the opinion of their former members one of the biggest publishing houses in the world. Religion is used only as a mask so as to hide the business.
  
  In the latest issue of their internal publication Our Kingdom Ministry the leaders of the Society warn their members against using the electronic mail and making their own websites since their official websites should be enough. One of the next serious charges is the prohibition of abstaining from blood which kills people and also little children. Loyal Christians should not mix with a disfellowshipped person. The Scripture says that we should not even eat with such a man. We should avoid any social contact with the excommunicated one..., even with your relative. In the publication it is said that those Christians who respect this rule should have much benefit from it, for in such a way they can show their love for Jehovah.
  
  The apostates say: we and all those who have left the organisation are shunned by our former friends. This is probably the worst thing which can happen to you. The society stigmatises the disfellowshipped persons and throws them away as trash.

  Jehovah's Witness guilty of sex charges

  A SENIOR member of the Jehovahs Witness Congregation in Ipswich has been warned he could face a jail sentence after being convicted of two offences of indecent assault.
  
  John Pickrell was today found guilty by a jury at Ipswich Crown Court of indecently touching a schoolgirl while giving her a piggyback on a beach and kissing another girl's foot.
  
  Pickrell, 48, of Cedarcroft Road, Ipswich, has denied seven charges of indecent assault on the two girls.
  
  Last week he was cleared of two of the offences on the direction of Judge Nicholas Beddard and today he was cleared of three others by the jury.
  
  Sentence was adjourned for a pre-sentence report until the week beginning November 11.
  
  Pickrell, who has no previous convictions, was released on bail but was warned by Judge Beddard that he could be facing a jail sentence.

  What "Two Witness" Rule?

  someone please show me where the watchtower society has stated, in cases of serious sin, the rule that requires "two witnesse" to the event or act!

  at best, one or two witnesses are preferred!

  Other cases of serious wrongdoing require special atten-
  tion by the elders in order to determine what is needed to help the repentant wrongdoer and to preserve the
  spiritual health of all in the congregation.

  These include such sins as adultery, fornication, apostasy,
  and drunkenness. (See Unit 5 (a), pages 92-6.)

  Before forming a committee, elders determine if the accu-
  sation has substance.

  It must Scripturally be an offense serious enough to
  result in disfellowshipping.

  There must be either two witnesses or a confession of
  wrongdoing.

  If there is not enough evidence to form a committee
  but serious questions have been raised, two elders may
  be assigned to investigate the matter.

  If a judicial committee is needed, elders who are present at
  the Kingdom Hall should determine which elders will
  serve on the committee and which one will be chairman.

  ...

  What kind of evidence is acceptable?
  There must be two or three eyewitnesses, not just persons
  repeating what they have heard; no action can be taken if
  there is only one witness. (Deut. 19:15;Jol1ll 8:17)

  Confession (admission of wrongdoing), either written or
  oral, may be accepted as conclusive proof without other
  corroborating evidence. (Josh. 7:19)

  Strong circumstantial evidence, such as pregnancy or evi-
  dence (testified to by at least two witnesses) that the
  accused stayed all night in the same house with a person of
  the opposite sex (or in the same house with a known
  homosexual ) under improper circumstances, is acceptable.

  The testimony of youths may be considered; it is up to
  the elders to determine if the testimony has the ring of
  truth.

  The testimony of unbelievers may also be considered, but
  it must be carefully weighed.

  If there are two or three witnesses to the same kind of
  wrongdoing but each one is witness to a separate incident,
  their testimony can be considered.

  Such evidence may be used to establish guilt, but it is
  preferable to have two witnesses to the same occurrence
  of wrongdoing.
