i think it's true for those who leave.. you need time to be with your own thoughts, time to heal before you try to talk to anyone.. .
if you don't, you'll just confirm what's on the minds of those who fear where you've gone.. .
Yes. My mother used to say that alot - new JWs should not be allowed to talk to anyone for a year.
In over-zealousness, the presentation is just waayy too emotional and off-putting.
When I first found JWD/N, I wanted to share what I learned with a few relatives who were semi-out. Turns out they were pretty strong apologists. LOL! Who knew??!!

So pretty. I have to admit, I miss the fall colors. I used to get 'Fall Fever' soo bad - and miss that season change.
Still have my lovely mountain out back but, oh! Those fall colors...~!! My very favorite.

i moved to san diego over 10 years ago and was still active at the time.
since that time however, i have executed a nearly perfect fade.
i would like to see if i can get in touch with some of the friends i had made in that short amount of time to see if they are still going or possibly have opened their eyes as well.. i went to the pacific beach congregation for quite some time and also knew/visited several friends in the kearny mesa and spring valley halls.
I had friends in PB - but that was back in the 80's. Not sure if I know anyone from the 2000's.

Yes, he is doing VERY well for his party but overall, he still needs a ALOT more votes for the overall race.
