  Under the law, Comey is required to immediately inform the Department of Justice of any attempt to obstruct justice by any person, even the President of the United States. Failure to do so would result in criminal charges against Comey. (18 USC 4 and 28 USC 1361) He would also, upon sufficient proof, lose his license to practice law.

  Obstruction requires what’s called “specific intent” to interfere with a criminal case. Now I personally (not because I think Trump is such a great guy) don't think you could legally establish he did this, but hey that's just me. Trump's vague language doesn't amount to him sliding a briefcase of money across a table and saying "make this go away".

  Not really, I have no problem saying what I feel is wrong with Trump, same with any politician.   Spoletta, I won't apologize for being patriotic about the certain things. I am an American citizen, I know several that have served and sacrificed a great deal. It matters to me so f-ck off! Whether it's Obama or Trump or whoever is president, as long as the principles of our constitution are still intact I do believe in the exceptionalism of this country. I have experienced some of the nonsense that comes with America, paying too much for school and healthcare, but I also believe as Obama said this country zigs and zags but it's always going forward. So yes, I give a damn about American lives lost, ESPECIALLY of those fighting to protect our values and freedoms.
