well, it's memorial season and mom has been giving me the "look" this past week ever since she has decided to pioneer for february and march.

anyways, the thing is i plan on buying a new car in the next couple months.

JW Religion a Heresy ?

many christian believe that doctrines and teachings of jehavah's witnesess are heresy.

they meet strong opposition in many coutries around the globe from people, churches and the goverments.

what is your opinion?

I agree with shining. JW's think they have a monopoly on God, but they do not.

i have found a lot of people no longer believe in god or jesus since leaving the organization.. im very shocked at this.

if you dont believe, can you tell me what brought to that conclusion?.

i was told to look at the thread that one of the members in this forum has created, they are very interesting, but i wanted to get a some feed back from different individuals.. thanks!

I still believe in a heavenly father and His son Jesus Christ., but not in the J.W, god Jehovah.

Bad stuff you did in school

what kind of bad stuff did you do in school?

here's a small list of what i did:.

- white out things in textbooks and put something dirty in its place.

while i was in high school in the mid 60's i was told that the end was so near that i would not get to graduate from high school so i should not be concerned about being drafted due to the war in vietnam.

well i got drafted but did not pass my physical due to a medical problem.. i then considered go to school in the late 60's to enter the medical field.

i was encouraged by the elders not to do this because the end is so near and why get schooling for a profession that you will not need in a few years?

Welcome newbies. I remember that 1975 was promoted very much in our area. Everyone thought it came straight from the GB. To say that they did not say this is a BIIIG LIIIE.

i don't mean this as an insult, more of a life experience thing.

i saw a lot of people leave in my years there and a lot were angry with the religion and the people, and some even protested the kingdom halls and wrote things in the newspapers.

a lot though, came back in time, as it was just the comfort zone they felt at ease in.

i had a really weird dream last night.

in my dream, i was in an old house, spying on three men in a bathtub through a cracked door.

they were just bathing, but in my dream i was thinking they were gay.
