Pumpkins in the Kingdom Hall yard....now Christmas lights...you can too
by oompa ini have been a pretty serious practical joker my whole life....some say i am stuck in adolescence (i hope she is 17).
but anyway, right before halloween i took a couple of pumpkins too close to the road at a farmers place and put them in the kingdom hall front yard....i know i should have paid for them but no one was there.
it was sunday night, and was hoping maybe no one would notice till thursday meeting, but they were gone on wednesday.

There are those who could and won't, those who want to but don't know how, those who just don't know what they want so will try all sorts coz life is short and those who won't try anything because God will smack them into oblivion or because of fear of disease or others opinions - i.e. fear of doing what they feel.
You forgot the only one that actually matters in my book. Those who won't because of the pain it would cause their partner.

Ok 5go, maybe I should have put it more like this. If you are cheating at a game of cards, you are breaking the established rules for the game you are playing. I assume that most people talking about spouses, know them well enough to know what the parameters of their relationship are. Whatever those parameters might be. I still think it boils down to mutual respect.

I think Oompa has made it pretty clear that he IS in fact a meany. I just finished a cup of instant coffee while reading his post.
Also, I vote for the cards and letters to Santa going to a hall. Ohhhh boy, I would have to follow the postman to the door to see that one!

Personally, I think the definition of cheating on your mate is pretty simple. Betrayal. Hurt. Disrespect. If you are doing something that you know would hurt your spouse to the quick, you are cheating. Heck just put yourelf in their place, pretty easy to determine your answer there. And this hasn't a darn thing to do with religious beliefs, it's purely humanist. Why have a spouse/mate, if they don't have your love, trust and respect? If the bond doesn't go any deeper than that, why have one??
