any brother who is a good liar, and good at the kiss-up game can work his way up to elder.
for 20 yrs i watched the haughtiest, lying, 2 faced hypocrite kiss-ups, get "appointed" to be ministerial servants and elders.....while brother "love" was left in the dust....(cause he was a thorn in their side)it's no wonder that they jump at the chance to sit in a committe meeting with a little girl, or teenage girl, or married sister....while they question her, wanting to know all the explicit details of it,,,,,,,while she breaks down and crys and crys.....begging for mercy........just to have them inform her that she doen't have 2 witnesses, and if she continues to talk about it she will be disfellowshipped..........and guess what,,,,SHE CAN'T STOP TALKING ABOUT IT.........AND THEY DO DISFELLOWSHIP HER.
how do you expect snakes and vipers to meter out justice, amac????? -

THE ELDER'S SON.......true story
by crawdad2 inthis elders son didn't know much about the bible, but..... at 17 1/2 his parents made him pioneer.........after he turned 18 he still didn't know much about the bible, but he was appointed a ministerial servant, and book-study assistant conductor.......his father and his father's brother were elders in the congregation.
(they controlled it).
they both agreed he was going to "bethel", as soon as he would be accepted.. they agreed, he was not allowed to date,,,,,it would hamper his "progress".. at 18 the elders son started secretly dating a very beautiful publisher...........after a few dates the father found out!......the same day, the parents basically disowned the boy, the elders son was thrown out of the house, with some of his clothes, for dating the girl against his fathers wishes......the elders son was in shock!

various publishers, now started calling the circuit overseer.....the circuit overseer told them "be submissive to the lead".....(he was good friends with the two "harsh" elders).........well, the elders son moved away to a relatives house and things died down a little,.........but soon announced his wedding plans to everyone!!......they arranged for a reception building, through one of the sisters who was willing to help............this sister(a pioneer) was contacted by the boy's father and his brother, (the chief elders).......and made to drop the wedding reception building reservations at the last minute,..under threat of being removed as a pioneer for causing divisions........she complied.
they found a reception place at the last minute...... the circuit overseer and district overseer got involved.....both agreeing that everyone should be submissive to the lead...... both elders started giving derogatory talks, aimed directly at the young man and his wife, of course never mentioning names..........last time i saw them,,,,,,,they were divorced and neither of them were going to meetings........the elders son was on meth and dealing......
there is way more!!!!!!....it was way worse!!!!! ...but it would be to long......

you would guess these things are not typical, and are not even a large minority????..........hmmmmmm........you must think the large number of silent lambs and their experiences are not true!...
are you keeping in mind that most rape and molestaion victims NEVER COME FORWARD????????????????........so the ones on silent lambs are just a drop in the bucket of what's really going on. -

Will It Make Any Difference?
by Dutchie inthe fact is that all of us became jehovahs witnesses despite the fact that the wtbts has always had a pretty shady past that included false prophesies, questionable behavior by its leaders, twisted scriptures and the like.
i could, of course, be wrong but it seems to me that in spite of everything that is happening at this time, there are still needy people who will accept the crap they expound and join the organization.
it will continue to grow and prosper.

why do you think the only place they are getting bible studies and "increase" right now is in "underdeveloped countries"?

the mother was a full time poineer who would take the little girl into the lady's room, and hit her with a wooden spoon while the other sisters watched and were afaid to say anything, or were doing the same thing to their little children,....you remember the beatings of little children in the lady's room, don't you???....remember the screaming of the little children????
the other "nicer elders" were told to "stay out of it", and they agreed, cause the circuit overseer was in tight with elders who did the questioning, and the pedophile.
if you were a good elder taking care of a cong........eventually you would have to either step down, or shut up.........cause you would see things that were an outrage, and want to do something, but the other elders would claim you are causing a division on the body of elders...... i saw many good brothers "step down".
