  I love that they are really looking at how the witnesses ACTUALLY feel about the people in the congregation rather than just all the messages going out - it seems she hadn't even considered that.

  @burnedout - Isn't she brilliant!! She has pulled some brilliant face through this, there have been quite a few faces of absolute disbelief - I think one of the publications said something ridiculous that was even worse than what one of the elders said she pulled a "what the f?!" face haha!

  has anybody confronted any jws with the royal commission reports on the news yet?

  i showed my 8-year old daughter a newspaper headline about it, and when she told my jw wife that the jws in australia were in trouble for not reporting over 1,000 child abusers to police, her response was "oh, really?

  Having been emotionally abused by my ex I was also counselled for telling a few close friends about the situation when I left him. I was counselled to not gossip. So of course instead rumours spread of my mental health instead thanks to my ex....its disgusting.

  And the idea of adultery being more serious than child abuse? Wow, bet the court are going to have fun getting their teeth into that discussion.
