all along the watchtower (fulton st. (mall)) there are many older friends witnessing along the benches.

I was assigned to a book study group which met on Montague St in Brooklyn Heights in the 70s. I have many memories of door to door work in Brooklyn Heights. There was little positive response but we did work our territory.
in 1969 roy d. goodrich published a book, "demonism and the watch tower" that contains information about strange electronic medical devices used by "doctors" at brooklyn bethel.. it appears that rutherford himself supported and endorsed the use of these quack electronic devices that also had a tie in with occultic practices and beliefs.. roy goodrich complained so much publicly about these occultic devices being used at bethel that he was disfellowshipped!.
this book today is impossible to find.
has anyone here seen a copy of it?.
I can't speak on the book as I'm not familiar with it. However, when I was in Brooklyn in the early 70s Goodrich had an obsession with making personal to person collect phone calls to Nathan Knorr. I had a good friend who worked the 124 lobby who'd describe how several times an evening Goodrich would try to place these calls and they, of course, always refused them.
I believe Goodrich died in the latter part of the 70s.

i almost purchased a copy from someone on ebay and then found out that the files were corrupted on the cd-rom.

Is there an easy way to extrapolate the text? I'd like to be able to read the text by itself.
Another question. I tried to post one of these .gif files (from the Armageddon, Inc. article) on a page at my website and it doesn't display. It seemed to upload to my site okay. But, when I click on the link nothing displays. Is there something special to make it work? JPEG files seem to work okay, however.

"armageddon, inc" was an article published in the september 14, 1940 issue of the saturday evening post.. it was written by stanley high and was a critical review of the jehovah's witness religion as it was then.. this was 65 years ago, and i do not know of _any_ articles since then that have been published in a major magazine that attempt to analyze or examine the jehovah's witnesses!.
there have been many articles published over the years about jws, particularly when conventions are being held in a town.
the local papers will usually do stories about them.
