we had a hard core bunch of elder drunks all 5 of them could drink like there was know tomorrow my father who was never a jw and liked a drink had nothing on these guys at jw weddings ect they would ask my dad to be barman because he was a big guy know one would argue with he would refuse to serve some elders because they had to much

This is an awesome topic!!!! My house was the BBQ place!!!! I'd BBQ every weekend and during the week in the summer the Elders and pioneers used to come and get sh*t faced all the time!!!! After every wedding, cong. event the elders would end up at my house. Once, a couple of elders and myself ended up at my house after a wedding and we all got hammered, they had to sleep over, their wifes adn kids!!!!! When the rumor mill started the PO (who passed out in my girls room!) let it be know that nobody was drunk that night, rather some peoplpe got "over served"!!!!! That is classic. from then on "we" never got drunk just over served!!!!!

One more story, I took the PO and his wife to Baja Mexico once and his pioneer wife got so drunk she pissed on herself!!!!! As I'm watching this happen she lifted her dress adn took off her panties and through them on the side of the road!!!!! I laughed my ass off for a few days straight!!!!! The next day she was hanging really hard!!!! LOL

Keep going to school!!!!! Don't let them control your mind!!!!! Don't worry about the rumors or any of that crap. Since I became inactive in April 2007 I've enrolled in school to get my PhD and many career opprtunities have opened up since I'm not a slave to all those useless mind controll meetings. Be strong and don't give school. Grades are important!!!

What is your current status with the Watchtower Society and Congregation?

i'm a baptized member considered ''inactive.

'' i don't hand in ''service reports'',attend maybe 3 meetings a month,ain't signed up for the ministry school and will never attend any convention or the ''book study.

Inactive since April 2007. I don't plan on attending Memorial or any other event. I still speak with a couple of Elders, the PO is a good friend. He doesn't give me any trouble cause he's told me many times, "i knnow we do not have The Truth" but he can't leave cause of family and that's all he has. My X-Wife is kind active but more so she is lazy, my kids good with her.

i thought it needed it's own place.. documents showed the tower suggests $4.50 per publisher.

the insurance has been in place since 1989.. for just in the last year, in america alone, the tower had made 4.5 million just on insurence premiums.

I did the accounts for almost ten years and i remenber being told the KHAA was for medical and car insurance. I remenber asking a CO once if the "Society" had insurnace in case of lawsuits, he said the Society does not get sued.

Early on as a young JW i was shocked when the Bro. i studied left and was DF. He had been to TMS, Bethel, you name it, he did it. He was even on one of the WTS video's. It was expalined to me that he was an "apostate". I've often wondered what happened to him.

Most of them where nice but mis-guided. A couple of the "hard a**es" had nothing going on in there lives, (crappy jobs, no future) so being an Elder is all they had going for them. Two Elders from my old Hall are really nice and we still talk. I will say this about the Elders, they are the biggest drinkers i even hang out with and I went to College and lived in the Dorm for a while. Elders are the best drinks.
