ASCENSION
And if I go,
while you're still here...
Know that I live on,
vibrating to a different measure
--behind a thin veil you cannot see through.
You will not see me,
so you must have faith.
I wait for the time when we can soar together again,
--both aware of each other.
Until then, live your life to its fullest.
And when you need me,
Just whisper my name in your heart,
...I will be there.

before baptism this was the second more doctrinal book that had to be studied.. 1980 united in worship chapter 19 "what does the mosaic law mean to you?.
chapter 20 "life and blood do you treat them as sacred?.
2002 worship the true god.
As a teen starting to question things I always wondered why books kept getting replaced. Now its so obvious, this BS doesn't come from any Almighty God. They make it up as they go.

Great letter. I like that its short and concise.
When you can send a letter I think its a great idea. It can give you closure, help you feel that you have made an active and final break from this group. Further you may make an elder or two think. Maybe even a CO or two. It depends on how much discussion takes place. I know I got my first taste of "apostate" gripes as an elder when other elders referred (admittedly derogatively) to their complaints. It got me Googling the issues and here I am. So putting your concerns out there can help in more ways than one. But of course once you do, you are ostracized. There is no turning back. Keep that in mind.

showing deep respect.. .
so what judge, male or female, gave god's answer to difficult questions with god's spirit?.
congregation elders and traveling overseers?
Good work Blondie. You know what's truly sad about this article? The missed opportunity. Its like these articles are written by men extremely out of touch with reality. Here they spend almost the whole article talking about honoring deities, and elders when they could have taken the time to discuss how to really treat everyday people and family members with dignity, respect, kindness, and oh yes honor. Another wasted opportunity of many the GB squanders.

once again a heavy on jesus issue, because the memorial is approaching.
the "fds" also want blondie to calm down because she's always bringing up the lack of jesus being mentioned in the majority of the issues.. the picture of the 125th gilead graduation on page 23 caught my eye thanks to jwd.
OMG!! That thing is horrid! Particularly the "Following the Lamb" article. My gosh, how can they make such BS comments with no one questioning never ceases to amaze me. It just goes to show that unless one's premises are logically sound one can believe anything. Imagine they receive direction from Jehovah! After their screwups that they still have the nerve...

ever since i bought my townhouse i've been doing all sorts of little projects here and there.. i fixed some weather stripping on the door.changed the locks after moving in.i seeded the back yard so it would start growing grassi fixed my counter-top that was a bit un-even.etc... all sorts of little things here and there.. today i did the biggest (little) job: i fixed an odd sound coming from a sink.. i noticed a second drain pipe under the sink that connected to the sink's main drain pipe.
i removed the second pipe and confirmed that the "plunking" sound was coming from it.
i traced the pipe up to the ac/heating unit in the attic.
Hey Elsewhere, be a little subtle will ya?

Awesome quote. We were always taught this. This reminds me of a quote from Jesus:
(Matthew

23:1-4) . . .Then Jesus spoke to the crowds and to his disciples, saying: 2 "The scribes and the Pharisees have seated themselves in the seat of Moses. 3 Therefore all the things they tell YOU, do and observe, but do not do according to their deeds, for they say but do not perform. 4 They bind up heavy loads and put them upon the shoulders of men, but they themselves are not willing to budge them with their finger.ever since i bought my townhouse i've been doing all sorts of little projects here and there.. i fixed some weather stripping on the door.changed the locks after moving in.i seeded the back yard so it would start growing grassi fixed my counter-top that was a bit un-even.etc... all sorts of little things here and there.. today i did the biggest (little) job: i fixed an odd sound coming from a sink.. i noticed a second drain pipe under the sink that connected to the sink's main drain pipe.

Good to know Yknot as I'm very knowledgeable in that area and will be looking soon.

according to the feb 2009 kingdumb misery, this is the title of the new hounder-hounder talks for public talks starting march 1. now, i can only imagine worldly fantasies include having a family, a reasonable measure of health and security, and being able to live a decent life.
kingdumb reality means throwing your life away out in field circus, attending boasting sessions, dutifully studying washtowel publications every tuesday all evening, and dying stagnant and having produced zero value in your own life.
I just noticed you guys mentioned that. Sorry.
