To IT and computer geeks

i am not an it person per se but i do a hellaceous amount of typing and i cannot stand brand new cheaply made keyboards that are now on the market.

i prefer the old ibm clicky clack keyboards.

i take my old ibm keyboard whereever i work since i can type up a storm on it; something i really have a hard time doing with newer keyboards.

I take my old IBM keyboard whereever I work since I can type up a storm on it; something I really have a hard time doing with newer keyboards. However the oldest better quality keyboards IBM use to make in the early and mid 80s are hard to find and many people to care to have them and they just discard them. If any of you guys have any you would like to get rid of, please let me know. I will buy them at a reasonable cost and pay S&H :-)

what songs do you listen to over and over again and never get tired of.

My Greek holiday photo's............

you know that awful moment when you ask a friend if they've had a nice holiday, and all of a sudden they pull out the holiday pics and you think "oh my god......." here come the pics i never wanted to see........well....... i wanted to re-create that moment in your own living rooms right now........lol.

.....i'll have a go at uploading a few, let me know if it works, and if you see the one with that greek god look-a-like on the beach, i don't know his name, i just had to get a pic of him.....corrrrrrrrr!!!

Great photos Scub; I haven't been anywhere in Europe since I was a kid; too poor to travel now and even if I could afford it I couldn't have the time off. I miss traveling.

You are feeling trapped by the situation as it stands at this time and what is more, you feel powerless to remedy it. You are stressful, angry and disgruntled. You feel that everything that you try to do to change the situation is thwarted and your hopes and aspirations all seem to be receding into the ever distant future. You have reached the state where you now doubt whether your dreams will ever be achieved and this is not only causing mental stress but heartache. You need to get away from it all - you need to have time to think, to recuperate, to be able to make your own decisions.

You are trying to build up your own position and you resist all external influences. You insist that you are your own person and you will not tolerate any outside interference. Decisive and proud, you are true managerial material.

Relationship??

after meeting a wonderful fella who also is jw.

i've never felt this way about anyone before in my life.

the only thing is i don't know if its possible for us to have a stable relationship, as i am r.c, not actually i'm irish roman catholic which is a little bit "stricter".

It may not matter to you but if you even think you may marry this guy; you will have to be a baptized JW to get married in their congregation. He, as a JW, WILL NOT be allowed to get married in a catholic church, so you guys will have to get married in a civil ceremony unless one of you guys cave in and leave your religion.

Common Bond Int'l conference for GLBT ex-JW's Dallas 9-2-05

on sept. 2-4, there will be the yearly international conference for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered ex-jw's to be held in dallas texas.

the below link gives more information as to schedule, etc.. .

i have never been to one, but i hear from others it is a wonderful event, with lots of discussions, and a chance to meet other ex-jw's from all over the world.

Ohiocowboy: I would love to attend that but I have a friend visiting from Denmark and he only visits once in a blue moon since he lives in europe and he should be here around that time. But maybe next year. If you are driving down south and happen to pass through Little Rock, let me know. We can have coffee :)
