a jw came in as i started my shift today and said that he tried to contact me before but i wasn't there.. i'm deaf and the brother was from an asl congregation.. i used to do calls like that but didn't realize how irritating and upsetting it could be for the employee/householder.
i told him that i used to be a jw but quit.. he asked me if i was under discipline or df'd or something..

i think more and more we are losing our grasp on a wonderful venue at jw-net.. as a discussion board, i mean.. at one time, there were a great many wonderful and interesting discussions by a variety of persons with varied backgrounds having a good.
More comments than discussion. Discussion has taken a back seat, now we get mostly comments. If it does turn into a discussion the topic at hand becomes deralied because folks hammer the other person, or persons they disagree with. Ruins the whole purpose of the original topic.
More often than not am pithy with comments although have at times been long winded.

Agree with Vamp and others who have made the harassment observation...... However, White Dove doesn't apper to be rattled ( ooopsie there's that pesky hyperbole again ) by these visits so, for now, she has no problem, do hope they will leave you alone in future WD. Keep us updated...

Can't do that, they'll swarm you like a pack of wild dogs, which seems to be happing to White Dove. She's already asked an elder to take her off the list. What happened, ignored, that's what. They keep on coming, to her work place no less. Sounds like harassment to me.

I see several posted before I made mine. Nomad, proper questions to ask. Here is my answer. God exist. Satan is an abstract construct ( there will be those who will say God is the same ) there is no Satan, there is much evil in the world.
