It's almost as if the inspired word of god just happened to match the prejudices and thinking of the men who wrote it down.

Jehovah's Angels are Sexist. No?
by prophecor ini'm only asking because when the angels fell from heaven, witnessing how beautiful the daughters of the sons of men were, they formulated for themselves, material, fleshly bodies in order to pro-create and do the nasty with some really ancient "hoochie mammas".
no where are we given any indication that these angles ever had, nor did they even desire to have sex with us menz, well, humph,.... i guess we know which of the sexes are truly blessed, then.

Something fishy re: Bhutto attack..

they're now saying that she died as a result from falling and hitting the roof of the car.
now, i saw pics taken a few seconds before the attack, and she was sticking out 3 feet tops.

Megan is in Hospital...
by KW13 inin a sense its my fault, i made her take a look in the loft to see what she wanted me to take down.
anyway while she was perched on top of the ladder, she slipped back and banged her head/neck/back.
she is ok, up, smiling and joking compared to before when things looked quite serious.

I just received a LOVELy letter from Trevor
by mouthy inin answer to the one i sent him..i had sent him some christian tracts .which he admits he has little use for spiritual things ( which i can understand bless him) but he did say he wouldnt throw them away one day maybe!!!.
he said that he agreed with me that an apology is truly in order ,& wanted to take this time & the opportunity to offer an unreserved apology for his conduct on jwd,of which he is both ashamed & embarrassed to everyone there /\....he also added he wished you all a very happy christmas.. .
he added that he has not been on jwd since ....thought i would let you all know.. so any who do pray .

Absolutely, it doesnt shout out ordinary or someone wanting forgiveness, it shouts out 'I am mentally unwell and need help'. Reading between the lines I think this is the first time we ever saw the true Trevor and nowadays thinking back, I have great difficulty in not feeling some compassion for what must be a very lonely and unstable man. I admire Mouthy's ability to forgive as I know many havent been able to find it in themselves (quite frankly I dont blame them either). Reminds me of that old saying, 'to err is human, to forgive is divine'

i had made a comment re him which was just rude and made more likely out of being scared or possibly just plain ignorance.

I have read this book and have mixed feelings about it.
I enjoyed his comments about taking an overly literal approach to the bible and his critiques of the God of the old testament.
What I didnt appreciate was his scathing attack on those with a belief and found him to be both arrogant and dare I say, ignorant. If he had taken a more objective approach instead of what appears to be a rant, his message might have been more palatable and might have allowed me to establish some respect for him.

I dont believe in an all knowing all seeing God up on high, I do however believe in divinity as a higher form of consciousness that connects all natural things.

Are Jehovah's Witnesses embarrassing 'Jehovah'?
by Gill inscandal upon scandal has recently been heaped upon the members of the watchtower bible society!.
eunice spry, infamous child abuser hit the headlines last year.. then the jw pedophile who escpaed jail despite abusing many children including a baby.. this week we discover the disturbing loss of a jw mother who haemorraged in childbirth and refused a potentially life saving blood transfusion.. i'm sure there are many more case you can think of.. do you think jehovah is pleased with the people that are supposedly a people for his name.
or do you think he's a tad embarrassed at the bad and foolish behaviour?.
