  The media and others have been noisely waking up the dead in the case of the Catholic church. If the government is not going after them, explain to me why the government will go after the corporate WTS or its Sanhedrin, or for that matter a whole host of other religious groups with similar pedophile problems?

  So if there is a serious problem going on then are you saying just leave it alone? Do you think the government will get involved if nobody says anything? Do you think the WTS will change the doctrine if there are no complaints? Do you think it is right to send CRIMINALS door to door, to church gatherings, etc? Do you think it is right to allow CRIMINALS to walk the streets so they can commit another crime?

  I agree that if enough people bring light onto the situation, something will be done to correct the issue. And people like me that have no ties to religion at all will support all of you out there that are trying to do what is right.

  Question 5 - The minute hand accually moves 6 degrees every minute and the hour hand moves 30 degrees every minute. There is 360 degrees in a full circle.

  360 (1 hour) / 60 (minutes) = 6 degrees per minute

  360 (1 hour) / 12 (hours) = 30 degrees per hour

  Of course this is the only question I can figure out because I am a human calculator.

  But I didn't get any of the other questions right so I guess I will stick to math..... LOL

  just would like to also say that i am still one of jehovah's witnesses.

  if jehovah's witnesses are truly distructive and to familys as well then i would like to know please, how on earth is the association of brothers going to stay together, if it is really destructive?

  Great comments Simon. Thought I would point out a few I especially liked.

  As for this e-mail, I don't know all the rules about the JW's but Cassiline has explained some of them to me (would read the books but I have a few problems: (1) I am illiterate (2) I can not interpret a simple poem let alone religious doctrine (3) There must be 10,000 different pieces of literature to read which would take more time than I have left on earth to read). From what I have been told, this person apparently doesn't hold religion very sacredly as many other in the world do.

  From what I have read on this forum in the past, I don't believe that anyone is trying to speak badly about the JW religion itself, just the doctrine that it supports. Any type of doctrine that supports CRIMINALS needs to be changed!

  I personally can't say that I would blame the elders, they are simply holding their religion sacredly and following the doctrine.

  However, I do blame the higher echelons within the JW religion that can change the doctrine, should have changed the doctrine, but hasn't changed the doctrine. What in the world are you people thinking?

  Cassiline has told me that JW's "founder" (lack of appropriate terminology) is someone named Rutherford, I think, who started the religion in the late 1800s based on what he believed I am assuming (if I am mistaken about this please correct me). Regardless, a lot has changed in the world since then, i.e. laws. It is my belief that along with these changes to laws, there needs to be changes or minor alterations to religious practices to help enforce these laws and report CHILD MOLESTERS, MURDERERS, RAPIST, and other violent criminals to the appropriate authorities rather than harboring them within the religion.
