a few months ago, 'somebody' - or 'chag' to h20'-ers, and i, had some dialogue about smiley music.. 'smiley' music is music that brings a great big smile to your face, when you hum or whistle along to it, you just can't help a big grin spreading from ear to ear.
it has to be good enough for you to say "wow, that is good", it has to be good enough for someone to take the trouble to wait for the download via audiogalaxy before they have even heard it.. so, what music / song can you recommend to others like me?
bear in mind, please, that i shall post my opinions very, very honestly, especially if it takes forever to download!.
I'm with Ozzie on this one ... "Take a Chance on Me" always wakes me up to a better mood.
NO LAUGHING! I'm serious!

This is a great topic!
I couldn't go back far enough to prevent the choices that caused me pain. Many of them were made by other people before I was conceived. I think just having the knowledge that I would make it through and have this life that I am glorying in now would be enough. It would mean hope and peace for me.

i remeber reading a thread not too long ago where many of you metioned having started and administrated your own businesses.
i am on the brink of doing the same.

Thanks everyone,
I appreciate the advice, I have visited the SBA website and was thinking the same thing Julie.
Larc,
I am in the process of developing my business plan now. I understand that you are a businessman, would you mind emailing me your phone number. If you would prefer not to I understand, but I have a couple of specific questions that might not be appropriate for here.
Englishman,
Bob and I received your Xmas card today! Thanks so much! Yours is on its way.
Edited because I hit the enter key prematurely (blushing)

in a previous post, some of you talked about your current age and number of years married.
subtract and voila, many of you married young, by which i mean before 20 years of age.
congrats to all of you couples, married long and short!
I had four siblings marry BEFORE their 20th birthday. I had one sibling marry at 24. I was 30 when I married ... but I was out of the borg. I went back to school, started a career, made a home .... DATED! I actually waited until I met the man I couldn't live without before I married. On the day he asked me to marry him .. I told him that if he ever even considered converting to JWism that I would leave his a**....and then I said YES!!
All but one of my sibling’s marriages are troubled. I sometimes see resentment in their eyes when they see us having loving fun with each other. I can almost hear the .... "I am doing everything right and she is doing everything wrong and She is having fun while I am not." And then I see the self satisfied "Well SHE is having her reward in full" creep in. Nice.
I feel very sad for them actually.

what subject matters most interest you, what do you enjoy learning about and what does this subject matter do for you?.
what subjects ideally would you love to have knowledge of most and why?.
onen hag oll.
I think my favorite subject is geography/travel. I really enjoy learning about other cultures, lifestyles ... geographical makeup of different countries ... foods. In an ideal world I would go everywhere, and ALMOST everything at least once.

just out of curiosity, was anyone here ever a pioneer?
what motivated you to pioneer?
what made you get off the list?
I pioneered for several years. My family had a very long history in the organization and it was expected. I was also desperately trying to find some joy. I didn't. I really intended to say more ... but this subject is making me really sad, and I can't quite put my finger on why. I think those years were among the loneliest of my life .... I felt hopeless. I am so grateful to be in a much different place today!

Welcome to the board! I would like to commend your obvious passion for a worthy subject. A couple of points, however.
1. You will find life here a lot more peaceful (and you will be taken MUCH more seriously) if you develop a slightly thicker skin. Please don't take our comments quite so personally. Remember that none of us know you ... it is only the word or thought that we are reacting to ... NOT YOU!
2. If someone mails you privately ... it is probably because they didn't want to correspond publicly in a post. I would personally be VERY offended if I had sent you an email with private information in it (name, email address, etc.) and you were to turn around and post it here.
Behavior like this does not engender trust or respect.....
Please don't think of this as a personal attack .... only a bit of constructive criticism.
