You missed out verse 4 which says:
Hebrews 1:4 “So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.”
If Jesus became superior to the angels then what was he before?
jehovah's witnesses refuse to believe that jesus is the almighty god.
they would state that jesus is 'mighty', but not almighty.. below is a 30 minute video proving from the word of god that the lord jesus christ is both mighty and almighty, separate from the father but equal too.. the verses used from scripture show without a doubt that christ is mighty (isaiah 9:6) and almighty (rev 1:7-8)..

If you read Phil 2:5-11, without trying to squeeze the Trinity into it, it says that Jesus was in the form of God, and is subject to God. The only spirit creatures we know about in heaven are angels of various kinds. So given the description of Jesus here, and elsewhere, it makes sense to understand Jesus as an angel, although the preeminent, firstborn and most powerful of all the angelic creatures.

I’m not sure. Let me think. I haven’t thought about that exactly, and my beliefs are a moving target over the years. I started out a believing JW, then through phases of agnosticism, atheism, back to theism, belief in the Bible. There are probably things I disagree about. I think possibly that everyone should partake of the bread and the wine, not just Christians with a heavenly hope, because there is a verse in John that seems to says we need to partake in order to live. I think it’s possible that Jesus is not exactly an angel but, as the only direct creation of God, he is a unique spirit creature who, as archangel, is superior to angels - but that might be a semantic distinction without much significance. One thing I don’t think JWs explain very well is in what sense Jesus will be ‘with us in paradise’ as he said to the person being executed at his side. Will Jesus have a fuller presence on earth in the future?
What do you think?

Do you believe that Jesus is a man now?
No. Heb 5:7 talks about “the days of his flesh”, indicating that Jesus was temporarily a human during his time on earth. At his resurrection, 1 Cor 15:45 says that Jesus became a “life-giving spirit”. Phil 2:5-11 indicates that Jesus started out as an angel, lowered himself to become a man, and was afterward exalted to an even higher position than before.

Christians have always maintained that Jesus was BOTH Man and God..... not one or the other.
1 Timothy 2:5 says “For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus.”
Originally Christians taught that Jesus was a man while on earth. The idea that he was God and man at the same time came in the fifth century at Chalcedon.

In Rev 3:12 Jesus talks about ‘his God’. This shows that Jesus is lower than almighty God, who is his God.
Rev 1:1 says that the book is a Revelation from Jesus, which God “gave to him”. This shows that Jesus relies on almighty God for knowledge.
Rev 3:14 says that Jesus is “the beginning of the creation of God”.
Almighty God is the one speaking in Rev 1:8 as the text itself says.
All these, and more, show that Jesus is subject to almighty God.
I know you have no answer, as usual, but I leave these points below your latest pontification.

Oh right, one of the atheist YouTubers that LE aspires to emulate?
I suppose LE and Dillahunty became firm friends too. Has he come out in support of LE? I guess he’s got enough of his own stuff going on to not be bothered weighing in on this. They seem pretty similar in some ways, except Dillahunty is a bigger fish.

Wing Commander just to make you more upset it’s probably worth pointing out that at least some of the informal hospitality and monetary gifts, which were substantial, are possibly not even included in the figure. 😮 He was certainly living the high life. But their situation in other respects sounds like hell, so I won’t envy it too much! 😉
Remember when he relocated due to an earthquake Lloyd actually made a casual remark in one of his videos that he didn’t really need all the money people were sending to him out of sympathy. That was probably more of a boast than a genuine statement to stop sending money. I didn’t hear him saying he would return any of the money sent. But just imagine how much money he must have been receiving at the time that he felt cocky enough to say he didn’t need more.
there are good reasons to belief that paul wrote hebrews.
i am convinced he wrote it.
is there any any convincing evidence or argument that can validate the belief?.
Pricilla, apparently, according to a quick glance at Wikipedia
