Kim he’s trying to wear you and everyone else down. He thinks that if he just repeats something often enough, and with enough confidence, that eventually people will just accept what he says. He believes this will work because it has worked for him in the past.

Lloyd is a minnow compared with Telltale.
Even Lloyd’s own patrons are leaking his membership videos now - oh the irony.
It’s game over, and he knows it. He’s made a video telling his patrons he won’t be making new videos for a while because he’s fighting an entirely fictitious legal battle against people who have dared to say the truth about things he said and did.
In the video he apologised to his patrons for missing his video with them last month. They pay him hundreds of pounds a month and he can’t even be bothered keep his promise of a special fluff video in their honour.
Basically he is telling his patrons that he can’t be bothered making any more videos, but wants them to keep sending him money anyway. What crazy people are still falling for this? Lloyd knows the game is up. He just wants to squeeze another few payments out of his patrons before the rest desert him.

He means the Marko allegations in 2017, I think, because somebody made a video about it then. Mark O’Donnell alluded to it in his public statement when he said allegations against Lloyd from 2017 were false. Which is interesting: that Mark O’Donnell knew about those allegations, and also strange that Mark O’Donnell felt qualified to state that the allegations were false. He should have said they are not proven. Who really knows if they are false, apart from Lloyd himself, and possibly a few others?
Anyway, all that is a major distraction, and basically Lloyd’s tactic of clouding the issue by mixing up the things he has admitted to, with other allegations that are as yet unproven, and them treating them all as if they are the same thing.
Which seems like a pretty high risk strategy to me. Because when he is so clearly lying about the recent stuff being libellous, it’s obviously going to make people wonder if he’s lying about the old allegations too.

These are interesting comments on early prayer meetings and their development and/or abandonment.
But I’m wondering in particular about the practice of “praying the Lord’s prayer in unison” that Knorr mentioned was practiced at the HQs in 1949. Many churches still do this in many different traditions: Protestant, Catholic, Orthodox, Coptic … even Unitarian. When did JWs stop “praying the Lord’s prayer in unison”?
Diogenesisiter I have never come across this practice among JWs, or ever heard it even mentioned. But it’s there in the 1949 Watchtower, so I was wondering if others have information. It is very interesting to hear you say you encountered it as a JW. I experienced it at school, and a few church settings when young, never at the Kingdom Hall.
