Yes I knew about stealing Neil’s book idea too, and charging people to be included in the book, which I have never heard of any reputable author doing, ever.
He also apparently fell out with Stephen Knight because Knight didn’t agree with him over the statue-pulling-down issue, then tried to alienate Knight from Michael Shermer over it. The details of that might be wrong—I only half picked it up from Andrew Gold’s podcast, although the basic idea of falling out with someone over a minor difference of opinion and then trying to get others to exclude the person, seems to be his modus operandi.
He has always had a talent for “churning” out a lot of content. Even when he started on this forum I thought it was impressive the number of words he could write in a day, as well as respond to new stories lightning fast. It was always quantity over quality, but some people obviously weren’t put off.

Fancy dress parties banned...anyone else?

we had 2 fancy dress parties in our congregation...before the ban.

it was the best fun we ever had together.

problem was some came as pirates with swords!

The link to the old thread (where Lloyd Evans outed people in Facebook, then called them liars, then ignored them) reminds me of something I wrote that still stands today.
I am not surprised how Cedars has acted to be honest. But I am really a bit disappointed in Paul Grundy and Lee Marsh. Paul has said next to nothing about the Facebook fiasco and the effect it has had on people's lives. In fact he still has a link to the Facebook page on his JWFACTS website. That is a poor show in my view. Misplaced loyalty or a lack of a spine I don't know.
Lloyd Evans has traded on the respectability others gave him, to cover up his appalling treatment of others, from the beginning. There is still a video on his channel celebrating “10 years” where Paul Grundy is the main cheerleader. A lot of the people in the video, probably the majority, have now distanced themselves from Lloyd Evans, but it’s still up there. Maybe if Paul Grundy asked for it to be removed then it would come down.

Can you believe his patrons went up 3 to 580 since yesterday? Ha! Do you think he is making fake subscriptions to his own Patreon? I wouldn’t be surprised! (He downplayed the number who have unsubscribed which is over 300, or over a third of the number he had in November.) Call that conspiracy theory if you like, I call it being wise to the kind of games this narcissist plays. (And no this isn’t an excuse for him to divert attention from his behaviour he admitted in his own livestream, which is the main issue here.)

His sister won’t have anything to do with him and it’s nothing JW related. Does anyone else remember the video he made about her doing a sponsored run then he took it down because she didn’t want his support.
It’s Dijana’s parents feel for. They thought she was marrying a good English JW pioneer and he’s turned out to be the son in law from hell.

It’s a shame Lloyd wasn’t made to answer the questing of legality directly. Prostitution is illegal in Croatia (according to Wikipedia), so he admitted that he regularly breaks the law. In his livestream he brushed off the question of legality with a kind of irritated sneer and moved on. How can he engage lawyers to issue threats when he is the one breaking the law?
