what has happened to this place??!!.

i left this board a while back to reorganize and get refocused.

the vibe of jwd was changing and the forum became "unbalanced" (for lack of a better word).

I think one of the reasons may be the mods. Their playbook seems to be loosely based on the Watchtower KS book combined with the Vagina monologues.

over the past few days... someone who i'm no longer associated with has been out on vendetta to discredit me.

it started with a mass mail to my myspace friends, which caused nothing more than a few eyebrows to be raised.

that was the reaction of people who know me in real life.

If there's a legitimate grievance a letter from a lawyer could probably accomplish far more than a thousand posts on the internet, which could worsen matters by contributing to negative publicity for Seth's business.

True! Best way to handle real life issues. Nothing can be done via the Internet except to spread gosip.

also their loved ones and caregivers.. - has been fighting mantle cell lymphoma for three years.

he received an allogeneic cell transplant and his latest blood and bone marrow results have shown no trace of cancer!!

My kudos go to restrangled for having the kahunas to open up this can of worms and get to the bottom of it.

Many of us have made judgements for or against Richie and rightly so I totally agree with what restrangled's husband said:

And whoever keeps throwing out the Judgemental Card likes its some double secret ultimate zinger....that just applies in JW circles....if you don't use your judgement on a minute by minute basis you'll never make it out of the house in the morning...and you'll be eaten up and spit out by lunchtime. Its not a curse...its a basic survival skill.

Richie you're young I hope you've learned a lesson from all of this and go on and make a nice life after all it's all I expect of you to do is to learn from your mistakes and move on, lesson learned. Mistakes are errors in judgement, I for one am not saying that YOU Richie are a mistake but it seems you have made an errant decision and you can do better than that Richie, you been brought up to do better. You'll have to someday you'll have others that depend on you to be honest and forthright for their sakes.

Now go and make yourself a nice life and hopefully the rest of us can get on with our lives and put this baby to rest.

Yes.

No.

Is a child always entitled to an inheritance? (I don't mean legally, I mean, in your opinion)

No.

Is it love to give an inheritance unconditionally?

Love has nothing to do with it, it's an example you set for your children and their children and so on. What kind of an example do you want to be to your family members? If you leave it to all of them unconditionally and they have the responsibility to distribute things evenly trust that they will do so and honor you in the doing. Otherwise sit down and make a long drawn out list of whom will get what.

Is it love (in a certain form) to withhold or limit an inheritance? If so, under what conditions?

Again love has nothing to do with inheriting property of your deceased love one. It's either the family or the State and I would much rather have it go to family than the Government any day.
