JoinedI wasn't raised a JW. I got involved with the Witnesses when I was 15, got baptised when I was 18, and disfellowshipped when I was 23. It was a long hard journey for me, I almost lost my family through joining and certainly lost 99.9% of my friends when I left. But I made it out. 8 years on, it's still a struggle to clear my mind but I'm on the road to recovery.
