Did it with Jesus - Now the WTS is sidelining the Bible
by hamsterbait inhas anyone else noticed how more and more in studies and other articles the wt no longer sticks only to the bible as its authority?.
they criticised the rc for quoting the catechism to settle matters of doctrine, yet more and more i notice points 'proved' by:.
"note what the watchtower says".

Disgusting thing = WTS
by hamsterbait injeremiah 1:10 : " see, today i appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and over throw, to build and to plant.".
does anyone else remember the talk at the dc about 1978, 79 where they said that the 'jeremiah class' would play the part of a spearhead that brings down christendom?.
since the disgusting thing stands in a place holy to christendom, this must mean that it is disgusting to her.

DELAYS IN N.O. part of Governmental Disaster Policy?
by hamsterbait insaw a programme dealing with the possible aftermath of a huge earthquake in l.a.. disturbingly it said that in such an event widespread civil disorder, panic and chaos would render efforts at aid virtually impossible.
the policy is to seal off whole areas and allow the violence and looting to play itself out.
after a week or more those trapped will be exhausted weak hungry and easier to control.

WHY THE MEMORIAL?
by hamsterbait inaccording to christs words at the last supper, his followers were to "keep doing this in remembrance of me" but st paul says that by taking the emblems we are declaring the death of our lord "until he arrives".. the greatest man book (i've been looking at it) says the "arrival of the son of man, jesus christ, with the angels must be invisible to human eyes.
the arrival occurs in the year 1914.
if the gb really believe this why are they still doing the memorial road show?.

by hamsterbait indo any of you have a specific policy as to which threads you will even look at let alone reply to?.
what sort of topic 'grabber' attracts you to read further?.
i have noticed that there are definite patterns in who visits what thread.. also, how frequently do you dip back to where you posted to see iff anyone has replied?

WHY no cross dressing in the Bible?
by hamsterbait inthings like jesus going for a pee, someone splitting thier hose, cutting their finger, are never mentioned in the bible.. one argument is that these things were so commonplace that nobody even thought to mention them.. since there is a rant in the jewish law about men not being allowed to dress as a woman, one would think there might be one recorded instance.
after all they did a tale about the egyptian gathering wood on the sabbath.. does this mean that cross dressing was so common in bible times it didn't even rate a mention in the book?.
was moses a drag queen?

"The Old Man is Dead" who?
by hamsterbait inwho was the famous politician, or king(??
) who when he died the message was sent "the old man is dead"?.
the reason why i ask is that there is a theory that king george of england when on his death bed was 'hurried along' by the doctors and this message was sent.. i tie this in with the theory that russell was piosoned or smothered, because when he died the telegram was sent to rutherford in california with the message "the old man is dead.
