i can't stop cooking!

i have made - cookies, brownies, chocolate cake(famous for) and dutch apple pie.

then i made, a few different home baked breads.. now, i am making dinner.. baked chicken(zesty), garlic mashed potatoes, sweet corn(grilled) and corn muffins.

Warlock: I should open a restaurant...lol. I do have 2 stoves! The neighbors come over all the time and ask what I am making...lol

I have made - cookies, brownies, Chocolate cake(famous for) and Dutch apple pie. Then I made, a few different home baked breads.

Now, I am making dinner.

Baked Chicken(zesty), Garlic mashed potatoes, sweet corn(grilled) and corn muffins. Sound good to anyone?

Am I eating all of this? NO! I am not even hungry and I have 2 small children, who eat like birds.

What should I make next? Also, I make everything from scratch, I wouldn't know what to do if I made something from a box.

WE didn't go to the Memorial last night!!!

we didn't go to the memorial last night.. husband and self went to sainsburys and bought easter eggs for the kids and we bought the dvds of 'a night in the museum' and 'flushed away'.. easter egg consumption will commence on sunday as with the usual pagan ritual.. films have already been watched, enjoyed and watched again.. we went shopping half an hour before the memorial was due to start so that any jws going past would see we were consumed in our worldly pleasures!!

we also bought a load of reduced 'danish' and us and kids ate them with relish with a nice cup o' tea!.

I stayed home myself. Reason? I had laundry to do!

In all honesty, the reason I went last year was to snub my family - which I did. I made sure that I wasn't going for them, or because of them.

This year, I felt no reason to go. I wasn't apart of that religion and my family isn't apart of me. Those who still contact me are either "disfellowshipped" or "fade aways". Why should I give them the satisfaction of believing in a small miracle of hope, that I may return and submit to their rules?

What I did last night? I grilled out on a sunny mid afternoon, while my children played in the back yard. Hearing their laughter and childlike conversations, made me sigh with a pleased peaceful sigh. I knew, in my heart I will never go back. My kids and I spent the night together watching movies and eating popcorn. The 3 of us fell asleep on the couch last night too! (lol) I got more out of that, then sitting in the Kingdom Hall listening to some mind numbing moron talk about "Jesus."

I'm going to Church on Sunday with my Dad and my kids! It's a non-denominational church. Then we'll have an Easter egg hunt.

I never sit down to eat breakfast - it's hard for me to do.

I had 1/2 a power bar and a bottle of water. It's what I usually eat for breakfast - if I eat.

I went to the Memorial.

i'm just going to start at the beginning.. i was anticipating the memorial all day.

i was nervous but excited, kind of like standing in line for a roller coaster.. ok. so erika gets ready at her house, and i get ready at mine.

i'm wearing a black suit with a light green shirt, and a tie that had hues of green and yellow in it.

Sometimes we do what we have to do! I think your reasoning and choice of words were not only classy, but shows tenacious determination. I also love the "non-smoking" comment! Classic!

It was beautifully written and I admire your wit, strength and serene honesty. Not only did you speak your mind, you did it in a modest tone - nothing like your mothers egotistical overbearing performance.

Right before my mother shunned me, I told her this: " I would rather you make the decision of shunning me, because I could never do such a thing, or be able to live with myself." This was the last thing she heard from me.

Being a mother myself, I could not possibly shun my children for any reason. In the future, I may not agree with thier ways/lifestyle (which I doubt because I am open minded) I will always love them and be there for them. With that in mind, I never had a mother - she is a egg donor. So why be sorry for a loss that I never had. My door is open to her, but my heart is closed.
