I want a motorcycle, not a scooter. It looks like a moped
Offence taken!!! Mopeds have pedals and large spoked wheels! These beauties look nothing like mopeds! Don't waste your time with a Harley, they'll shake your kidney out of place!
i am hooked.
i want to buy a motorcycle!.
i just got back from riding with a neighbor of mine.

Don't get a Harley, unless you like that biker look that so many middle aged men and "wanna look tough" people are attracted to. Get something with some real style like a vintage Italian scooter, maybe a '67 Lambretta SX200 or mid-60's Vespa GS. The slower speeds will keep you from killing yourself and you won't need to wear all that dreadful leather!
listening to all of new boy's stories of the bethelites has reminded me of one of my own..... when i was about 17 (reg.
pio.
)our phone rang in the middle of the night.
I have to say that my time at Bethel was a blast! Me and my friends partied non-stop! I was 19 and hung out with about 20 other guys from 19 to 25. We did everything you can think of from skateboarding through the Office building at night to squirting unknown bethelites with supersoakers from a corner room at 107 (was that what the building across from the Home building was called?) I had a killer room in the Towers building and got to watch the sun set across the Manhattan skyline everynight. Despite the tedious, boring work and problems I had with my supervisor, it was worth the stay.
along....you are obsessed with me arent you... this time it was your fellow antis who clowned.
and classed the both of you.

Yeah, it was intentional. Search for it: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=engrish I guarantee you will get a laugh out of it.
Pretty funny stuff!

Listen to Prisca, not the other replies...that's my advice, which I'm sure you were eagerly awaiting.
You need to pick your fights, and I don't think your sister's wedding is a good time/place/topic for a fight.
The loving thing to do is to consider your sister's feelings and wishes, not your own (even if you feel you are being wronged.) All those other posts about standing up for your rights are self-serving. There is nothing wrong with them, but there is a time and place for everything. Don't make your sister's wedding a time and place for it.

It's so annoying having to wade through a paragraph of barely legible Engrish
Was this intended? If not, then that is pretty funny.
i got a call today on my cell phone today from an elder (i am disfellowshipped)... said i hadn't been seen in a while at the kh.
i said yes, thats true, that the most recent incident regarding his daughter's treatment of my daughter has caused me to not come.
it was the last straw.. "are you going to take it out on jehovah?
He admitted.........yes those remarks are wrong, but what am I going to do?
Ummm, maybe apologize? Ummmmm, maybe to tell the brother that gave the talk that he is wrong and needs to apologize? You should remind them of the biblical consequences of stumbling people out of the "truth," especially when they are supposed to be leading the flock (not closing the doors to the kingdom.)
If you still believe in the truth then I recommend going to a different congregation if you have difficulty with your elders. If you have questions, then research them and don't supress any questions just because they are not in line with what you are told.
the story takes up 2 pages in womans own magazine and has a photo of the j/w father who abused his daughter.. the story is entitled..... "church of shame".
and starts...... after being sexually abused for years by her father, alison cousins turned to her local church for help.
but she was turned away and told to keep quiet.
(((((((((( amccullough)))))))and a bttt...
YoYo idiot...go play in the traffic!!!!!
I'm not sure what this means...can someone enlighten me, as I'm not too savvy on NG posting.

Mavman,
It was not just her word against his. According to the article, he pleaded guilty to indecent acts on his daughter AND another girl. This man admitted guilt in a court of law for two seperate accounts. You don't get much more conclusive than that.
arrested for going kingdumb hall!.
last night (3/21) the mountain view (ca) police arrested me.. this happened as i was attending the sunnyvale congregation service meeting.. i was dfd last july and was told by the elders the conditions for reinstatement were meeting attendance, repentance along with not speaking to anyone or anyone speaking to me (shunning at its finest).
(btw, i was dfd for apostasy).
(Ammcullogh: Is it "a private place that is usually open to the public" on Sundays, too? Or is it ALWAYS open to the public for the PUBLIC talk?)
ummmmm, no, a tree does not make a sound if it falls when no one is around.
