Why I wasn't such a good witness.......
by Dawn ini was thinking about my past as a jw today and realized that i never did fit the mold quite right.
i studied, went to the meetings, out in service, and all those things so i appeared to be a great example.
and i really did love god and wanted to do the right thing.

What's The Worst Scandal You Know Regarding Jehovah's Witnesses?
by minimus in.....whether it be in the congregation or from "headquarters"?
-

i think the whole thing is a scandal within itself. 1919 is probably the biggest lie ever, even bigger than 1914 because there's so much coverups in that date in itself that R&F don't know anything about.

its terrible upheaval,he assured his audience,' will take place in my time.i anticipate seeing it.. watch tower president knorr died on june 8,1977.. do you know of any other statements without specific dates that have been made.i have more, but i'll wait for yours.

the constant claim that the end is "so near" and we'll live to see it. too bad the generation before was told that, and the generation before, and the generation before.

WTS is like the NFL
by dustyb inyep, another comparison of the watchtower society and the national football league of usa.
i was just watching a documentary on the nfl earlier, but it wasn't on plays.

yep, another comparison of the Watchtower Society and the National Football League of USA. I was just watching a documentary on the NFL earlier, but it wasn't on plays. It was about the bad habits, abuse, drugs, and other things that exist in the NFL. As the United States' most favored sport, we tend to watch the plays, and idolize football players, and the game in general. But something that one NFL official told the cameras was, "We don't show the bad points of football because it would be like sticking our feet in our mouths. Besides, there's tons of other sources that talk negatively about the NFL organization." The big thing is that diehard football fans won't believe any of this. They believe that their quarterbacks don't snort coke, smoke weed, or shoot steroids. But reality is harsh.
Isn't that true of the WTS? They speak of all good, try to hide their history, and shun those who don't believe in them. They are indeed like any other worldy organization, not under the guidance of Jehovah....
