Amazing - Thank you for explaining where you got the number from. I still find that number of 70 hard to swallow. For starters, the fact that some of your information came from an attorney proves that the numbers are skewed. ;>)
I think I agree with Jan on his latest post about available information.
I wouldn't mind looking into these groups that have tracked these numbers. I'll have to do this when I have some time, any starters on where to find this information?

I don't doubt that a career criminal can have 70 victims. But if you were to average it out with all the pervs that only had 1-5 victims, the average would be far less.
i suggest when the society quotes somebody, we should confirm that they are usin the quotation in its context because the society is a master in deceiving and taking out of context everything.

Most of the cases I have read about have been far, far less than 70. Even if that is a "typical" number for a career criminal, the average must be far less than this.

First off, I was referring to post conception. I am not against birth control.

This does not apply since we are discussing the human rights of a fetus which is post conception.
it's a small wonder we can reproduce at allWell, I don't know if you noticed, but it seems to happen quite a bit. I think it is safe to say that most fetus are expected to make it. I don't know the percentage on miscarriages, but from what I have heard, although it is a lot, it is still a minority. The other scenarios I can't comment on.

Because the average Joe could probably care less about doctrinal issues within the WT. And even those lives lost due to the doctrines on blood, etc are probably not as vast as the number of people affected by child abuse.

I know you weren't asking me, but since my last post was never responded to, I thought I would jump in...
What criteria other than having human DNA (which we have already established, I think, as not enough criteria on its own) --- what other criteria is needed for something to be 'human' enough that we should be concerned about its rights, in your opinion?
In my opinion, the criteria would be, whether it is an adult on life support or a fetus in a womb, the main criteria is will this life form progress into a fully functioning person? If the chances are more than minimal, then they deserve human rights.
